GIANT Food Stores, Whitehall PA

This store is always so clean. I really don't like the robot that seems to follow me around. I like to get the package deals and order my deli items to pick up later when I am done shopping.

I love shopping here. The environment is always clean and well stocked. The prices are affordable. There is rarely ever a long line. The produce are always fresh! I recommend coming here more than any other supermarket.

Store is clean and most of the employees are very helpful. Doesn’t say much for management and their training in activating gift cards. Typical that you talk to 2 people and the answers are different, but to hear “it’s not their job” to call fix the problem is not professional at all. They had the receipt, they had the card. They know it’s not been used or activated, but it’s not their job to fix the problem.if you think telling someone to have a nice day solves your problem it doesn’t. Get trained and train your employees to do things correctly. Not that any amount of money matters but it was a $50 gift card that was a gift from my hard working son.

I always gave good reviews about Giant been going there for years but now I'm upset with the deli dept, wife waited patiently to get called on the young lady behind the counter asked my wife what she needed she placed the order and right away the young lady said anything else my wife said very politely can you please give me a second hun to look to see what else I want while you do the first order my wife looks at me and asked me if I wanted anything cause I just got there from parking outside We usually buy pounds of stuff there. The young lady got upset looked at my wife and caught an attitude dropped what she was doing and gave it to her co-worker to do who wasn't too pleased either. She had no patience or respect for customers. We're essential workers also we work hard for our finances. Giants Deli dept has a huge selection and they didn't even give us chance to look to see what else we wanted before she started rushing us and they were very disrespectful It wasn't even crowded.
Anyway we won't be going there anymore we rather go to Walmart and deal with the crowd cause atleast they dont treat people like that! We told the manager about it and they gave us the cold cuts for free but we didn't go there for that! We went to Giant seeking quality products with quality service but they should train these young employees to have some courtesy and respect

We always shop at Giant and am so disappointed that after 10 pm no one can check us out. We had a full cart and I asked if someone would please check us out. I was told, sorry no! We are here now still trying to check out by ourselves. The store will be closing soon. Since I do not work for giant, nor get a discount for doing my own checkout while watching at least 3 employees talking together, I will now shop elsewhere!

My wife ran to Giant on 6/13/21 to grab a few things and when she got to the deli the older lady was very unprofessional and disrespectful. My wife needed cheese and the lady said to pick from the pre packaged stuff. Well they didn’t have the cheese she wanted so my wife told the lady and she had a fit. Had such attitude. Now I understand the deli closes at 9pm but my wife asked at 8: 40. Someone needs to check this lady. This is why we never fully shop at Giant but when we need something quick it’s the closet.

Giant is a clean environment very well managers market employees are very nice and helpful to me I'm sure it will be okay.

I've shopped here for years, it WAS a great place to shop, unfortunately the quality of the shopping experience has deteriorated over the last few months.it is impossible to social distance in this store, stock carts and employees crowd aisles and block merchandise; they are doing work that would be better done when the store is closed.it is not safe to shop here, store management has created a situation where it is IMPOSSIBLE to social distance.

Not good at all! Customer service was very poor at the liquor dept very rude & very unprofessional service won't go there again: (

I find it very disappointing that we all wear masks for everyone's safety but the security officer doesn't have the decency to do the same and the store manager allows that.what a joke

Mist of the staff are friendly, but the 2 females in the meat department were extremely rude! They just ignored my wife and I as we tried to order cold cuts. Once I got aggravated they tried to help us then. Then they threw our cold cuts on the counter and walked away. I ended up putting a pound of chicken back because she failed to put a sticker that had the price onto

A friend stopped at the Giant in Coplay with my husband the otherday and he picked up some off brand cream cheese that he really liked so we went to this one near our house to get more and when he couldn't find it he asked at customer service about it and they told him there is no store in Coplay and they don't carry that brand.

I like Giant - they have most things in stock. Couple people not wearing masks bugged me but other than that, solid experience. Great check out lady Michaela, very friendly:)

Convenient Giant location. Friendly staff and diverse selection of items. Prices are good. Parking is not the easiest due to the way the parking lot was designed. Can get crowded, especially on the weekends.

I was in this store yesterday late afternoon and saw a man working stocking in the meat dep. My problem is he was wearing his mask down on his chin instead of over his nose and mouth. That is not acceptable!

I realize things are tense w the whole virus situation, etc. But I came in, picked up a Western Union wire from my son, & purchased a cart full of groceries. They were out of quite a lot of items, which I totally understand mind you. But when I go to customer service and ask to buy quarters so I can do my laundry I'm told no. I'm sure this situation has not in any way affected their daily armored car pickups/or deliveries, so why not be a human being and sell me some quarters folks? Even poor people like clean clothing after all.
