GIANT Food Stores reviews
34Giant is the closest grocery store near me, which is very convenient. When I needed to pick up wired money they had me covered. When I had to buy my mom a cake at the last min, got her resease peanut butter ice cream cake saved that day. Thank you GAINT.
There meat Dept is the best of all super markets. Too high prices is the only issue I have one of the top 4 highest super market chains in US
I really love this store, everyone there is very friendly and helpful. I am a older person and they were there to help. Very clean. And I don't live near the store.
Once upon a time there was a very nice grocery store by the name of Giant located in Aldan. The service was great and prices were right. I went there today for the second time to return something but once again there’s someone paying her bills at the customer service. I also wanted to ask about finding canned peaches (you know, basic grocery store kinda of simple question) but, of course, the girl paying her bills (or sending cash to God only knows who) was taking up the customer service counter
and there was a line of about six people. I did not see the girl buying groceries which was very interesting that giant felt that she was high priority. Bad business practice Is say. This is exactly why I have stopped shopping at Walmart. I don’t understand why a grocery store has to become into a bank for people that don’t know how to open up a checking account and send checks. This is basic finance life skills. You open up a bank account and you send money from there either online or by check- basic stuff. However, if Giant Foods stores now wants to cater to non-customers by helping people who don’t understand how to open up a checking account then this is not the store for me. Bye then, Giant! You have decided to cater to all the fringe people and just lost your base customer. After 30 years of shopping here I am saying goodbye. I don’t care how much Trader Joe or ACME costs me. You have let everyone know who you care about most which is not us!
The store has a nice selection of products and the people working there are friendly. The only problem is that every time we go they never have any carts. You have to stand outside waiting for someone to return one or follow someone back to their car. I understand today (2/6/21) because they are calling for snow, along with it being Super Bowl weekend but this has been happening every week.
My shopping experience was excellent. But, when I looked at my receipt at home, I was charged for 3 items and only purchased 2. I will return with my receipt and get my refund of $5.49. Will keep you posted.
My favorite food market, staff always friendly, stores very neat and clean. Always have what I need!
The store was a mess and there was no employees to help find the items that I needed. Normally the store is organized and I can find what I need. I wasn't so lucky this time.
Please bring back the baskets and smaller shopping carts. It seems like there’s only 5 small carts for the whole store. What are you supposed to do when you only need a few things?
The cashier (young man) was so nice. Please do a little more with cleaning the checkout conveyor belts. Otherwise, this is a very nice store.
It seems like the quality of the plastic bags have been downgraded. The bags kept tearing. Even using double bags didn't work.
15 minute wait at deli while employee tried to fix number machine. All I wanted was a deli pickle. WHY NO PICKLE BARREL?
Ads and signs in store often don't match also are very deceiving. Have yet to ever go and not have an issue with items not ringing up right or discounts not coming off at end of transaction.
Giant is by far my favorite place to shop. I love the organic section, there’s so many options. And now they have local produce which I think is cool too.
I like Giant's muffins in the bakery section. My favorite is the piña colada (which I dnt see anymore) and the red velvet. Wish they made a few with frosting also.
Store is clean, and well stocked, staff is helpful and courteous. Clean restrooms, great parking, bakery is only so-so.
Umm so after the cashier stopped scratching and chatting with a co worker, she proceeded to not bag our groceries which would be fine if it was shut up in a way I could do it myself. Then blew her snotty nose, before handing us the Receipt. I’m not a germ-a-phobe but ewww! The quality of the food is the same as any place, the staff isn’t helpful or friendly or even conscience of normal hygiene etiquette.
Outstanding variety of food including a good organic section and clerks are friendly prices are reasonable too
Love this supermarket. They have the best brands and great deals. And the fact that they stay open until midnight is a plus!
Do all the Giant markets boycott Cento sardines and Italian tuna? Everyone I visited do not have that product. Also some of the Giant stores don't even carry their own corn flakes. You have 1 option Kellogg's. Thanks Giant. Why do I shop there?
