GIANT Food Stores, Lancaster PA

Joan the cashier was extremely rude. No greeting when I walked up and when I proceeded to greet her she rolled her eyes. She then expected me to grab the scanner from her hand after she just wiped her face to scan the items in the bottom of my cart… We are in the middle of a pandemic last time I checked. When I refused this request the eyes were rolled again. The bagger that was assisting her put my raw meat in a bag with juice boxes and lettuce. It is my opinion that chicken especially raw chicken needs to go and it’s own bag. My eggs were put on the bottom of another bag and then heavier items were placed on top. When I arrived him 2 eggs were cracked. And they were not cracked when they entered my cart. Maybe some better bagging lessons and an attitude adjustment would help.

Very disturbing, Giant staff was allowing shoppers to enter and shop in a very crowded store with many elderly without masks. I confronted one of them & they were openly defiant. Giant should've followed common sense & policy & not allowed these ignorant individuals in the store!

I go here a lot for my groceries every week. I love the point system. I use mine for gas points. This is also the only place to get my sons pediasure on wic.

What a great place to shop, they don't force me to where a face covering. They know that I have a problem with this, do to reasons beyond my control. I hope that now that I am sharing this that people who are wearing them don't start something that doesn't matter. Like I said, for reasons beyond my control i can't wear them. God Bless us and stay safe.

Selection is decent (I can find a few things at this lication that I can't @ the Giant closer to me) & the staff that I've encountered have been very pleasant.

Great employees. I hope they get recognized for everyday efforts. Cashier and line workers are very friendly and awesome!

Great selection of vegetables and fruits, clean, staff was helpful in answering my questions. Cashier was affable and professional.

I go to this location often and it is always clean but today I will give this store 5 stars because the bathroom was very well kept and smelled like air freshener and not the cheap kind either.

Usually has all i need as well as the prices are good with the bonuscard. Save alot and friendly and clean.

Same as any other giant.no issues, got what I needed, paid and then left. I’ll be back again for groceries. I’m not picky on grocery stores as long as they have what I need at an average cost. As long as that’s the case I just go to the closest grocery store to my house.

Really good spot to shop, Only thing I dislike is some of the items sold here are nearly double the price. Example Halo top is 5.27 compared to 3.88 at walmart

Very very difficult getting from public bus to store and even harder leaving because of carrying groceries. Never try it in the snow

Everyone was so helpful. From asking me if I was finding everything I needed right up to and including the two young ladies that did the checkout and bagging for me. These folks are a credit to Giant.

I would've rated higher if not for the odd aisles design. I do not find it helpful to zig zag my way around, to get what I need. Besides that, I loved the friendly and helpful staff.

Very nice and clean store. Great produce section. Decent selection of health foods/ vegetarian and vegan/organic foods. Vegan bon bons for my girls birthday went over well. They have a sitting area, but no longer a coffee bistro. Still the best place to shop around.

Parking fills up quickly due to other shops in mini mall. Not enough in stock. Could have been a bad day. I will go again.

Best grocery store, period! Clean, excellent deli and produce, and Devon who is Head Cashier is as good as it gets! Wonderful personality and very friendly!

The new giant stores that have expanded to the large size have most anything you could possibly want. Which is always a good thing one place shopping

Probably my favorite store to shop in. They always have what we are looking for, and we always find great deals. Staff is friendly and helpful. We went on a Saturday afternoon and walked right up to the register with no wait. There were like 8 lanes open. It was great. Will continue to shop here for a long time.

That was followed by one of management everywhere I turn he was buying me I asked him what was going on and he said nothing just checking stock and I said you're checking me out not stock well have a right to so I left a full cart of stuff in The Isle told me to put the stuff away from himself this is the way they treat customers I don't need to go there I'll go to wise
