GIANT Food Stores reviews
17 Well it's a nice store but lately when I go either a Wednesday or Thursday it seems the juice and water isles are either empty of normal drinks or the shelves are disorganized.
Like if you carry Bai drinks why only one flavor? Other stores aren't like this.
And the toilet paper products and paper towels were all mixed up. Usually they are kept together not mixed.
And why is the isles with cleaning products mostly have hand sanitizer and hand soap? And not normal brands over priced! I can get Dove at the dollar store not pay 5.99 each! And no its not from Mexico or China!
The employees are nice there that's why I go out of my way.but may have to stop!
There was one young lady and I say "lady" loosely who was very rude when I asked her about a product.
The prices were good better than Acme why we usually shop I like to meet there but giant was good on great prices I will keep shopping there thank you
The worse customer service I’ve ever experienced. I won’t ever come back to this Giant. The cashier rung up the most expensive peaches instead of the ones I was trying to purchase. I had to go and get the slip to show the correct price. They should ring up the produce code on the sticker always. I also waited to speak to a manager and he or she never came. I also asked for the general managers name and they acted as if I spoke Spanish. My rating would have been a zero if it was possible.
Why are there no small carts? This is a tiny store. All they have are grocery carts for big orders. Get some small carts.
Store is overall ok, but they do not clear dairy products from the shelves when they have expired. Four times in the past 4-6 weeks I have brought expired milk and cream to the manager's desk. Today, it was coffee cream with an expiration date of January 21, three weeks past its expiration date. Check the expiration dates on *everything* you buy in this store.
No better or worse then most. Mediocrity is an apt word to describe the atmosphere. The isle's are lined with just about everything every other giant has, except you see this one is here. If your near here and need a homogeneous shopping experience devoid of surprise or change your in luck. You should probably stop reading and go buy some Doritos and Campbell's soup. But don't forget about the bakery! They're sure to please. Everything you need is right here.you can cook tacos tonight, or beef stew, or spegetti. The choice is yours. Choose wisely my friend.
This store is filled with miserable, unhelpful employees, who obviously do not want to be there. I was almost knocked over today by an employee from their meat department, who didn't even acknowledge what he did. I reported this to a manager, who did nothing. The store was hardly busy at the time. The worst Giant in Delaware County. Avoid.there's too many other stores in the area.
Clean and good sales. However, I've noticed they have discontinued carrying certain products that I like. I don't visit store as often. There cakes are very good.
Giant (Edgmont) has the friendliest people who have gone out of their way to assist me while shopping. I also like the fact that you keep the milk up by the front door when that is all I need. (But that doesn't stop me from getting some of your discount bakery products which are right next to it.
Clean, reasonable prices, great customer service; however, if you decide to use customer service, be explicit as twice the assumed the wrong thing and charged me for it.
I looked up "Giant gas station" and drove all the way here to find out they do not have a gas station. What is the point of getting gas points if you have to do all this driving to get to the gas station
Unfortunately, I agree with the other reviewers. Called the bakery today and was unable to get what I needed. I was told, " just to come in". I explained to the individual that the purpose of my call was to reduce the time in the store, his response didn't change. I encourage the store to look at these reviews as there is an Acme less than a mile from the store that offers great service.
Very personable and customer-focused staff, excellent prices, respectable selection and clean environment.
Great store. Its smaller so they don't have everything the bigger Giants have but the employees are helpful and kind.
Always good neighborhood grocery store. They may not carry specialty items however I never had any issues with "Giants". Thank you.
I like this store. It's bright and laid out better than the ACME down the road, by Rt 252. At first, I thought they'd close it (this Giant) because it didn't seem to have much traffic and the store was more or less empty all the time, but they grew on me.
The service has always been nice so far, too.
I like some of the brands they carry here better than the ACME, even though, I must say the ACME is simply more convenient to where we live.
