GIANT Food Stores reviews
26Website says beer garden opens at seven, beer garden opens at 9, if you're lucky. Sorry night shifters, either wait till 9: 30, or go somewhere else.
Good item fast check out Clean store workers great instacart oh perfect love this giant store very convenient with good quality stuff, can recommend any one to shop at this giant store.
Shhhh they think they are the only ones selling beer now. So they make you get all if it cold so you have to drink it right away and cant buy and store warn beer, hahahaha they say.
I have always been able to find everything on my list when shopping at the Coopersburg Giant. The staff is helpful and friendly. AND the prices are good! What more can one ask? Please keep up the good work! I really do not want to search for a different store because I believe that none can compare with the friendly service, speedy checkout, and quality of fresh fruits and vegetables available at the Coopersburg Giant!
This site was very well stocked and clean. We shopped early maybe 9am cashier was friendly and helpful.
They have activated the self service scales for bagging your groceries. Now everytime you take off a full bag to put in your cart, it sounds an alarm and says to return groceries to the bagging area. There is space for 3 bags on the scale, so if you have more than a few items you will need to go to a cashier. Please Express your disappointment to the manager.
2 Young men in the beer aisle WITH NO MASKS. I'm a little disappointed that Giant went from strict covid safety to lax safety
Some people here are rude they seem to never have the products you need. There is only one employee I can say is very pleasant and help with a smile. Self checkout Chichi.
I was in the Emmaus Ave. Allentown, store at 11: 24 am, Sunday, Aug 9. I wanted to buy the chicken tenders on sale, but all the packages still reflected the non-sale price. A man in red giant coat, was refilling meat near by. I politely asked about the price. He loudly, sarcastically, without even looking at me, proclaimed it would change at checkout. He abruptly walked away, went behind the meat counter, and continued to voice his disgust with my question. Perhaps, people have been asking all morning, but it was my first time. This man has no business, being out front in contact with customers. I was embarrassed. Not my first problem of this type at store no. 6074.
It's the only food store I shop at the staff is amazing the store is always well stocked with everything I go for their bakery is amazing and not over priced and the pharmacy is fast and reliable love this store!
The selection of groceries and household essentials is excellent. The organic Nature's Promise aisle has a decent variety as well. The staff at the checkout lines is great, but I've run into some rather disgruntled management staff when dealing with pricing issues. I wasn't given the sale price initially on a product I purchased, and the manager seemed upset that I even cared. In the end, I was refunded the difference, but it shouldn't be that difficult.
It has an interesting selection of stuff. Not quite as big as its predessesors with not a big selection of specific stuff.
Although I spend more money there than I would like, Giant is my go to. It would be great of they stepped up their to go food game. The hot bar is tiny and always seems to have the same food. Hoagies to go are a bit week as well. Would like to see some more food on them. Great options for Vegan and Vegetarians. Much better selection than a lot of other places.
I went to this Giant Food Store after a trip to Dorney Park. This store is not as good as the one in Sinking Spring PA. Very Small Selection.
I seldom go any more since stores stopped being 24hrs. Nothing to do with quality. They've always been good. It's just my work hours mean I can only shop after midnight. So I took my business to 24hr Wegman's. About 2 miles further. But prices and product quality compatible. And not all that out of my way
There is what looks like a newspaper when walk in the VERY FIRST automatic doors. There is coupons on the side of it and also the deals are listed. If you Don't have a bonus card there is one the cashir can use so Don't let that stop you. And you can add the point to a bonus card of your own later if you save the receipt.
Since I've moved back to Allentown. The Southside has terrible choices. I'm going to make it a point to go to this Giant. Clean and friendly employees.
Floors dirty. Aisles blocked by stocking carts making it difficult to shop (during peak shopping hours). Cant the shelves be stocked at other times? Or can the stickers move out of the way?
It's a nice clean place to shop but I feel like the selection is small. Most of the veggies are in bags, which I don't like. They also have mostly lettuce but I didn't see any fresh green beans, beets, rhubarb, etc etc. Most things are canned or in plastic bags. The price was also high compared to other shopping places. In the end, it's not a bad place to shop, but I hope they have more of a selection in the future.
Was there on a Saturday morning and the staff were all very friendly and they had a nice selection
