Gilbride Limousine is a First Class operation with an amazing assortment of immaculate vehicles and professional drivers. Kevin goes above and beyond to provide a second to none customer experience servicing the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area for weddings, formal events and luxury transportation to all major Airports and sporting venues in the tri-state area.

Do not recommend Gilbride to anyone looking to use their service for an event. My fiancé and I were told they have an Escalade stretch available for our event. We were told we must pay for at least 5 hours of service and it would be about $900 +gratuity. I showed up the next day with a check for deposit since he told my fiancé I must come and personally give him a deposit and no one was there. I came during business hours and called the number listed and a cell phone number for “emergencies”. My fiancé also tried calling him that day and every day after for about a week leaving voicemails. We never got a call back/email/ text nothing. He kept calling and finally got ahold of the owner and told my fiancé it would now be $1400 for about 3 hours of service. My fiancé told him that is not what he told us on the phone and he said well you didn’t “ask for a contract”. We both tried to get in contact with him to give him the deposit and get a contract started but he refused to return our calls/voicemails after he told us to come down and give him a deposit. The owner was very rude on the phone and trying to tell us how to run a wedding when all we wanted was a limo service. We learned our lesson and should have listened to the reviews warning about using this company. We will not make this mistake again with using this company.

Kevin at Gilbride Limo is the most rude business person we have ever dealt with. I started planning my wedding in 2018, and my wedding was supposed to be May 2020. But due to covid, and NEPA being in the red phase at the time, we had to reschedule to June 2021. Kevin at Gilbride Limo was the only person to make us pay extra for saving another date due to covid (and the extra was not a small amount). None of our other vendors, such as Constantinos, 570events, Monzies, or Ej the Dj, made us pay extra for changing the date-which we are very thankful for and would highly recommend any of those vendors. Due to covid, we had to do the new contract verbally over the phone, where we booked a trolley for June 2021. We called Kevin before the wedding to see when he wanted his final payment and tell him the timeline of the day with the trolley. At this point, he denied ever speaking about renting the trolley to us. He forced us to meet in person and would no longer speak to us over the phone. He insisted we meet in person if we wanted to go on with the rental. When in person, he said many rude comments, such as "If you dont like how weathered the trolley looks, you can come and sand it down before your wedding". Me, my husband, and my mom were all involved with booking of the trolley, but when I began to talk to him about it, he stated "this does not involve you at all, this conversation is between me and your mother". Ummm, hello? I think this conversation does involve the bride. Lastly, on the day of the wedding, my mom had a cashiers check for his final payment and he threw it back at her and demanded cash, making the bridalparty 20 minutes late to the wedding ceremony. So overall, I would NOT recommend Gilbride Limo to anyone, and beware that Kevin is a very condescending and rude individual. Who I would recommend that does have a trolley and big limos are Back Mountain Trolley and AJ Limo Coach.

I don't know if the gentleman who answers the phone is the owner but he is easily one of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. He cuts you off when speaking with you and seems as if you are bothering him when you call to book his service. I tried to give him a chance after he was an arrogant fool the first time I called but it was certainly no better the second time.

We hired gilbride limo for our wedding transportation to/from our home, the church and reception. Our driver, Terry, was extremely professional, accommodating and went above and beyond his job duties! He exceeded all my expectations from start to finish, from his kind and gentle personality to reading my mind and jumping in to help out in any way he could to make the day run smoothly. Without being asked, Terry assisted me by carrying my train into the church, making sure it didn't get dirty or caught anywhere, even fluffing the bottom so it sat perfectly just before I walked down the aisle. I couldn't have been more grateful! If you're considering any other limo company, turn around and go book Gilbride.make sure you request Terry!

My original deposit to book with Gilbride was $400.00. I signed a contract in 2019, for a wedding on 06/27/20. Due to the Pandemic and CDC laws, my daughter's wedding was postponed. The venue and caterer could only operate at a 25% occupancy. Which means only 25 people total - including all staff would be allowed in the building. Staff meaning; Photographer, DJ, Venue Staff, Bartender, and Caterer Staff. Leaving us 16 people for a wedding of 85. We changed the date to 10/24/20. Gilbride required another $300.00, for a total of $700.00. My caterer came to me asking if we should change it again since the guidelines were still at 25%. I rescheduled once again, to 06/26/21. Hoping that this date would work better. All but Gilbride were accommodating. In fact, Kevin seemed to be a bully. All other businesses involved in working and planning of this wedding were helpful and worked together. Kevin Gilbride told me twice the date of 06/26/21 was open, but said he did not want to change it again. He asked that we change the venue or possibly to a tent rather than the building. To which, I explained would cost more money. Rental of tables, chairs, dance floor, tent, lighting, more flowers (larger area would require additional flowers), heater, and generator, plus more caterer staff as there would be no access to a kitchen anymore. He wanted to start a new contract that would require me to begin at the original contract amount of $1560.00, and forfeit my $700.00. Many businesses have taken the grants (not loans) to help carry their business thru this crisis. Whether he did or not is unknown to me, but his practice of hospitality leaves something to be desired. This situation is not anyone persons fault. It's a stinking pandemic. He actually bragged and said he'd have it at his new wedding venue being built, if he could. Interesting comment, as he would not mind the thought of taken from another business just as he did me, his customer. He never offered one dollar of any of my deposits towards a new contract, how sad is that? Troubling and doesn't deserve one star but had to choose one to post this.
