Gilligan's Bar & Grill, Harrisburg PA

Had the lasagna and meatball lunch special with small salad. Portion sizes were just right. Waitresses were friendly and quick.

I was pleasantly pleased with the food. I was alone but the waitress made me feel at home. I had an Overall very nice experience. I had a 16 oz steak with sauteed mushrooms and onions baked potato, broccoli & corn on the cob with garlic bread.

Since 1993 Gilligan’s Bar & Grill has been a premier dining establishment in the Harrisburg/Capital area. They feature fresh seafood, perfectly seasoned steaks, hand cut veal, homemade pasta dishes, freshly baked sub rolls, healthy garden salads, scratch made soups, made to order burgers & succulent prime rib. Prices are very reasonable. Bartenders are top notch. They offer a nice variety of micro & macro breweries on draft. The wait staff & managers are always helpful, attentive & courteous.

Can never go wrong with Gilligan’s.
Service and food is consistently good.
They have the best French Onion Soup.
Never have had a bad meal here. Tons of seating too. Always a good experience!

They have a very large menu and we like everything we have tried! I am particularly fond of the sandwiches. The side of chips is very good. I truly appreciate that they have an IPA menu!

Food was not good. The crab dip was mostly cream cheese and melted cheese. My salad had a lot of wilted lettuce in it. It seems like the only people that go here are local regulars. Overall, this place is very outdated and needs a revamp. Not just in looks, but food as well. Staff was nice.

I ordered online with Grubhub and got one of my 2 items doubled, but the other was missing. I tried Grubhub customer service and couldn't access them! The restaurant is now closed. What a waste of time.

The food was very good and plenty of it. Would recommend to anyone looking for a Bar & Grill experience.

Very pleasant atmosphere. Excellent service. Can't comment on much of the menu because I usually get my favorite spinach salad with hot bacon dressing and it is very well done!

The food was good, The service was good, and The atmosphere was good. It was just good. I had the burger, and it was great but wasn't the best I ever had.

So I ordered a Delmonico steak with loaded mashed potatoes an the cheese looks like it sat for a few hrs then the server is hiding so I have to wait for a refill on my drink an let me mention that she assumed I was drinking diet soda an when I corrected her she replied an I quote “ Whatever Whatever “ so her tip shall be whatever whatever singles I have left in my pocket

Great place to grab some drinks and good food. I come here often to relax and I always meet good people at the bar. Food and bartenders are great

Tried something new here and I really enjoyed it. Their menu is outstanding. Nice people that work there

I didn't get anything to eat, but it reminded me of an old neighborhood staple of a place, where there is a heavy contingency of regulars that love it. The service was attentive and really good. The menu looked a little busy and outdated. I suspect if they widdle down the items to a handful of stuff they do really well (seafood, bar food, burgers etc.) could take this place to the next level. Glad I stopped in though for a few beers and to finish up my day working from the road that day

Food was pretty average. About what I expected, so I was not disappointed. The service was very good!

Food was ok. Shrimp was extremely greasy. Hubby enjoyed the pasta - it’s his usual dish from here. I haven’t found my fav dish yet.

I haven't been to Gilligan's in roughly 10 years. To be honest, I had always found it lackluster. My buddy had the dinner for his wedding rehearsal here and I was pleasantly surprised! Every part of my meal was absolutely delicious. The hand cut prime rib was MASSIVE and perfectly cooked (impressive because we had a group of 20 or so). When you ask for it to be topped with mushrooms and onions they LOAD it up. I was stuffed and happy.

One thing though - the handicap stall in the men's room was missing one of its grab bars. The mounting was there but the rail was not. This made it a little more difficult to transfer for me.
