We were very satisfied with the work done on our recent construction project. Ed and Jay personally checked on the crews to make sure everything was going as planned. The workers were all courteous and respectful to us and to our property. Our home looks great and we would recommend Gilroy Construction to anyone who needs repairs done to their home.

Israel and his crew did a great job, showed up on time and knocked the job off very efficiently. Cleaned up and were very courteous. Ed was great to deal with and would highly recommend them.

After having four other roofing contractors come to my house, My decision was Gilroy Construction. They told me about the material they will use. Spoke to me as to what they were going to do. Had the job done, PROFESSIONALLY done in 1-day. They listen to what I wanted not what they wanted to do. Any concerns I had was addressed and taken care of. In all my years this contractor was the most easiest to speak to and get along with. Personally they are the best. If you decide not to go with Gilroy Construction I think you maybe making a big mistake.

They drive like crazy and won’t hesitate to cut off a tractor trailer. If you drive a truck, don’t hire these people

Was quoted $14,000 for a new roof. Found another very reputable roofing company that quoted $8200. What a joke. Avoid!

This fall Gilroy roofing replaced my roof- very high and complex job. Company rep returned my call immediately, site visit was following, estimate was on time as well. After reaching an agreement they started work as scheduled. After 2 days my roof was completed without any hiccups. Beautiful, on time and money.

I highly recommend this company, both - the rep and the owner were very involved in the process and made sure all went smooth. Job was done mid October.

It was comparable to a whirlwind consisting of instant shingle removal & disposal, special attention to chimney areas and roof edges, securing our family home for decades. The roofers arrived at 6: 45am (15 mins early!). Got right to work. I had to beg the roofers to come down for a subway sandwich and have a lunch break as they just kept going like the energizer bunny! These guys cleaned up the outside perimeter of my house better then it was before they started. Ed Gilroy Sr did my parents roof many years ago and Ed Jr is a chip off the old block. He was very responsive, answering any questions we had and would get back to us in a very timely fashion. His timeline was spot on, calling the day before and being here bright and early. Our full rip off and replacement was done by 130pm. New gutters and lead guards installed shortly after! Very reasonable……3 estimates, and Gilroy was by far the best around! You won’t be disappointed! Great job Ed, your dad would be proud!

They Might be FAST doing jobs. But theyre slobs, they are super Loud and careless. They kept hitting my house with debree BC they didn't even tarp off the construction side they were working on driving on people pipes we addressed to the workers and not only did the one guy lie and say he was the boss when he wasn't but they were calling myself and the neighbors curse words. I called Gilroy and his SECRETARIES cared but Gilroy DIDNT. I over heard him encouraging the guys saying they are Good men? That's how GOOD MEN ACT? Maybe in HIS WORLD. He's Trash and would NEVER RECOMMEND OR HIRE HIS CO BC he obviously only cares abt his Money more than people. Its all about his bottom line and wouldn't be surprised if many of his employees aren't Legal in this country either. They are Really IGNORANT PEOPLE. SHADY. CO

Gilroy Construction is the absolute BEST. First of all from the first moment I met Ed Gilroy for an estimate on my roof he was very professional and told me the roof would be installed at a certain time and as promised the roof was done at that time and completed in a day and half. His 7 hard working employees who completed the roof were so nice and when the job was done they cleaned up and it was as if they weren’t there. Needless to say I am very happy with my new roof and the excellent quality of the products used by this company is worth every penny spent. I have received numerous compliments on my new roof and it changes the whole appearance of my house as it made my house look as if I just had it totally remodeled when in fact my house was remodeled about 20 years ago. No doubt in my mind I would HIGHLY recommend Gilroy Construction and if I could I would give 10 stars So contact Gilroy Construction if you are looking for perfection!

In May we had a hailstorm and needed an entire new roof for the house and for the separate garage which is the size of another house. The quote and value was beyond what we could have imagined. The crew arrived at 6am and started work immediately. All of this work would have been completed in 1 day except for the issue of it being 90 degrees and this company has enough integrity to stop so no shingles were damaged. They arrived even earlier the next day and had both structures completed by 10: 30am. All mess and debris were cleaned up. You wouldn’t even know they were there except for the beautiful new shingles on the roof. This is one of the best companies you could ask for to do your roof. Highly recommended for professionalism and quality of work. We couldn’t be happier.

I recently got new new roof and gutters replaced. They showed up on time and are a very hard working crew. They did the job in a professional manner, and did not leave until every bit for debris and nail was picked up. I would highly recommend Ed Gilroy and his crew.

Ed and his entire team were fantastic to work with. The initial consultation for the job was completed quickly after I called and a thorough explanation of what was needed was provided. The entire process of removal of my old roof and installation of the new roof was done quickly and flawlessly. Ed's team cleaned the job site so well, you would never know construction just occurred. Ed also personally handled an issue with my insurance company and had it resolved without me having to contact them. The quality of his work and attention to all of details of the job is unmatched!

In December 2021 I discovered the roof leak which was supposedly "fixed" had returned. After consulting my insurance company, i also found out our roof had suffered from hail damage and needed replacement. After putting a band aid on the leak, i called 6 roofers (4 local) resulting in zero return calls. I had even explained in my message the work could wait until spring. No return calls came back.
Then a work associate suggested I call Ed Gilroy. Ed personally returned my call within 12 hours. He was at my house to measure and provide an estimate the next day, and i had a price to provide to my insurance company 24 hours later.
In early May the crew of 9 roofers arrived. They protected the exterior of my house, stripped off my old roof, installed new wood sheathing to bring my house up to current Building Code, and installed my new roof in one day, doing a thoroughly detailed cleaning of my entire property prior to leaving. Their cleanup was superior to many other roofing projects by other companies in my neighborhood, where some debris was overlooked and left behind. Our roof looks great and we've received many compliments on it.
One unfortunate event was the cost increase due to material shortages and inflation from Dec. 2021 to May of 2022. Ed forwarded the detailed revised estimate required by my insurance company for price adjustment, and shortly thereafter i received the additional compensation, making the process almost stress- free. I strongly recommend Gilroy Roofing to anyone looking for a HIGH QUALITY job at a very competitive price. Give them an opportunity to serve you, and you wont be disappointed!
