Giovanni's Pizza & Pasta reviews
14The pizza is the best I've ever had and I mean that sincerely! I would go there daily if I could!
Went here after a Metallica concert. Of course, the place was packed but they were busting a hump getting orders out as quickly as possible. Great service and the pizza was excellent.
I ordered an item that didn't have lettuce or tomato. The item showed up with lettuce and tomato. When I called them the manager told me to scape the lettuce and tomato off like she was my mother! It was a lady working at 1230am Friday November 18th. She then threatened me with hanging up without receiving a refund or having my wrong food corrected. Apon receiving a new item I discovered they served me raw meat that I could of gotten sick off of. This lady needs fired.
I came from Ocean City Maryland for the Ravens game. This place was recommended and did not disappoint. It was great no frills just good food. I would definitely go there if I am in town again.
GOOD pizza, good service and nice staff. Thankfully they have good pizza by the slice at late night. VERY FRIENDLY!
They did recommend Cafe Milano for late night drink with their pizza. DO NOT GO TO CAFE MILANO upstairs bar. You'll waste your time.if you don't value your time.then expect 30 mins before possibly getting a bottle beer.
Order online and food was ready very fast. Prices are really good and the pizza is AMAZING
DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!
PLEASE READ!
This IS THE Giovanni’s in town on 6th st.
Placed an order for pickup.
Pizza - ok
Raviloli - mediocre
Italian hoagie - SEE PICTURES!
The meat was rancid, it SMELLED! Made my daughter gag; was NOT edible!
Called and asked for a manager, was placed on hold. Someone else picked up, on hold again. This happened 2 more times before a manager picked up. Told them about the hoagie and asked them to refund me for the hoagie. Manager said, “sure, if you bring it back”.
WHAT? ! So we did. I took the hoagie down and told them to smell the meat, look at it! I demanded a full refund due to the inappropriate handling of this situation.
The manager had no empathy and did not care at all. I WILL be calling and visiting tomorrow! I will also be calling the health department due to how rancid this meat looked, smelled, and tasted!
The Italian hoagie was good but why the burnt onions. I usually get them raw. When they put the lettuce and tomato, had to have seen the burnt onions. I see you only respond to positive reviews, so I will choose the other Italian restaurant across the street next time.
Great place for a quick bite in the cultural district. Food comes out very hot. Renovated dining area is spacious.
I ordered the meatball calzone, and it was delicious. I ordered a small, and it was definitely big enough for two people to eat.
Best pizza ever. Need I say more?
The meat lover pizza is my favorite there and I always recommend it.
Ordered from this location on 11/2. I ordered online, which went really smoothly. I walked into the location to pick up my order and was not greeted by the various folks behind the counter. After 5 to 10 minutes I was asked when I needed. I gave them my name and was given my order. No thank you, no eye contact. I left to find they had forgotten my dessert. I called and was told that it was their mistake, but they did not apologize. I was also told that i would be getting a refund, which i had to ask for, and for which i never received. Overall, staff was rude and unfriendly and the food was mediocre at best.
Got a pepperoni slice, cheese and chocolate cakes after the Steelers game today. The worst pizza I have ever had in my life. The cakes are horrible and I am pretty sure they are expired. I will never ever go back again. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
They refuse to add condiments to the order. No matter what. Pay for them at your own risk. Repeat customer, new customer, call back after you place the order to remind them. Tip in advance. It’s just not going to happen. So if sides like ranch or anything on the side is going to affect your order. Do not order from here.
