Gladwyne Animal Hospital

My husband and I couldn’t be happier with GAH! Ever since getting our puppy 7 months ago, we’ve been there a bunch between the initial vaccinations, a few sick appointments and most recently Augie’s neutering. At our initial appointment back in August, Dr Lenahan was incredibly helpful in answering all of our questions (as new puppy owners, we had a ton!). The vet techs have always been so sweet to Augie too - one of them (Amy I think) was sitting on the ground with him and playing with him as we chatted with the vet. We’ve had Dr Chambers a few times who was incredibly helpful as well. At our recent neutering appointment, Jen the surgery tech called a few days prior and shared tons of good information and answered all the questions that were on my mind. She was so attentive when we dropped him off and educated us on all the medicines, what to avoid, etc. When we picked him up, she helped us figure out which of the surgery suits we brought for him fit the best and even walked us out of the office as we left. She was truly fantastic. Finally, Megan at the front desk seems to always be there whenever I call and she is so wonderful to deal with. We always leave the office feeling so comforted by the care he receives and I’m constantly recommending your office to others.

The best there is. I drive over 2 hours with my pets to see the doctors there. Their compassion and knowledge is unmatched.

Carrie Sutor is the smartest and most caring vet I have ever been to. Can’t recommend highly enough!

GAH is the best around. Bailey (dog) and I have been going here for years and I can’t say enough great things about the Doctors and staff. We are very lucky to have them nearby.

We love everyone at GAH! We’ve had only positive experiences, from routine annual exams, to those times when things go wrong and emergencies pop up. Jeremy, Jedi the cat, and Bella the schnauzer have all had their share of urgent issues, and we always know our pets are in the best of hands at GAH. Our most recent experience with Bella was a prime example; she wasn’t feeling well, not wanting to eat, and they were able to fit her in the day I called. Dr. Mercier saw the urgency in her situation, so she was scheduled for a procedure the next day. Turns out it wasn’t what we thought it was after radiographs, suggested by Dr. Mercier to explore crackling in her lungs, were taken by Dr. Sutor and revealed a mystery metallic foreign body in her stomach. Surgery was performed by Dr. Sutor immediately, and the mystery object was removed. We are so very thankful to Dr. Mercier and Dr. Sutor. Thanks to them Bella is still with us!

Overall experience A+. This was an introductory visit. My dog was treated with kindness and sensitivity, office was very clean and staff very engaging and friendly

We just completed our first visit at Gladwyne Animal Hospital. We couldn’t be happier with the care in our dog received. From the front desk to the veterinarian, everyone was so kind and knowledgeable! Dr. Krell will be a lifelong resource for us; you could absolutely see her care and love for animals from the moment you stepped into the exam room until the moment you left. What a team!

Dr. Krell is awesome. She takes very good care of Landon, doing a thorough exam every time we bring him in.

Dr. Ross is an exceptional Dr. She has stayed in touch with us and monitors our pup's condition closely. She's also in touch with the neurologist at Penn Vet and communicates with her regularly. Couldn't be happier with her attention.

It was easy to get an appointment that was compatible with my work schedule. The staff were polite and patient. I really love the doctors there and she did not talk down to me which is something that I have encountered at emergency facilities. My only wish is that there were Saturday hours.
We have multiple pets but Snowball and Mary require extra attention. We are so grateful to have GAH.

Dr Jogan is a very knowledgeable and caring veterinarian. I trust her completely with the health of my 11-year-old dog. I have also interacted with Dr Ross, who is a wonderful veterinarian. The front desk staff is very welcoming and helpful, and the veterinary nurses who have assisted with our appointments have been highly skilled and warm. This is a fantastic practice, look no further!

I have never experienced the total compassion that I found at Gladwyne Vet. Their primary concern appeared to be making the dog comfortable and not afraid. So sweet.

I love the staff at Gladwyne. They’re always friendly, informative, and thorough. My dogs enjoy going to the vet now as the fear-free procedures ensure they’re far less stressed than usual and their emotional needs are met during the appointment. I feel as though they’re in safe hands every time we go.

This is the best hospital in the entire SE region to take your feline or canine kid to. The ladies, nurses, and doctors are so kind of thoughtful. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you GAH.

My Boxers have been a patient with Dr Sutor
for about 19/20 years. (all five) They were patients of hers before she opened her own hospital.
I will tell you everyone there is loving and kind.
Their knowledge and compassion is exceptional.
My first Boxer Named Roxy had heath issues.
She hung long as possible.
It was time to let her go. I remember the compassion, love and gentleness in Dr Surors voice and face when we let her go. I could see the love and trust Roxy had in her eyes for Dr Sutor.
One of my Boxers Phoebe had over 12 or more Mass cell tumors removed at different times. All were found by Dr Sutor and removed. She live almost till 11 which is long for a Boxer.
One day I needed an emergency visit for Odie
Dr Sutor was not in the office. I was told that
Dr Lew Springer could see him. I was not used to another doctor, but had no choice.
Well let me say Dr. Springer is a fabulous
doctor. His manner is priceless. He is gentle
and kind. He has also treated Willow my 4 year old Boxer. I have see this man sit on the floor with her to make her comfortable.
Now just 2 weeks ago. Dr Springer saved my
almost 10 year old Odie’s life. During a routine
exam. He felt a tumor on Odie’s Spleen.
Not good! If it was not discovered it would have burst open and he would have bled
to death. Ultra sounds performed, X-rays and
Blood work. This needed out ASAP I was
recommend to Metropolian Hosp and it was removed. Thank goodness it was benign.
The odds were against Odie.
But if Dr Springer did not detect it, Odie would not have survive. The next day Dr Sutor called my house to see how Odie was. She was away and heard about Odie. Need I say more!?
