Glenolden Park Playground reviews
14Love this playground, but why are they removing all of the fun things…? First they took the two big slides away (the remaining tall one literally hurts to go down, other parents have agreed with me on this lol) and now the big thing that all the kids would sit on and spin is gone!:/ Other than that, it’s still a nice and open place to take my 2 year old where he can run and climb. I do find it a bit odd how many grown/loud teenagers hang around the playground and play on the equipment at times
My complexion wasn't celebrated around here while I was with my daughter enjoying the day.
Racism is taught, it's really disturbing to see people teach their children to dislike someone because of their skin color.
People need to do better
Great playground but a lot of the people that come dont even pay attention to their kids that bully other kids. I come her once in a while and always have the same issues with different kids that are very mean to others and snobby. Maybe its just a thing around there where people think they're better than others. Parents dont really interact with eachother and there's teens that take up the swings and publicly do inappropriate things at the park in front of the small children. We don't need to see teenagers tonguing eachother down at a playground.
This used to be a very nice playground but now they’ve turned it into a toddler playground by removing the larger slides. My daughter is nine and this park has now become too young for her. Not sure why the big chunk of the park was removed but we are very disappointed!
Still a very nice playground, but the tall slides and a large part of the playground have apparently been removed recently. Still lots of open space to play or walk outside of the playground. I'm not sure why a chunk was removed, but I think it definitely took a 5-star playground down to 4-stars.
Glenolden Borough really stepped up. They park is kept ultra clean & orderly. Nice play equipment for kids to play "safely". Did not see anything that I didn't like. Kudos
Nice Park, very clean, nice neighborhood, friendly people, and nice children. Very spacious, nice Street parking, and parking lot on other side. This would be 5 stars, however the rest rooms are always locked up, so be prepared to have somewhere else to use the bathroom.
The bus driver that picks the kids up did not stop when my grandson was getting into my car I thought it was part of there Trai ING to watch out for children not him he just came right through two parked car making it a dangerous place for my grandson to be unexpectedly
Very nice, clean, well kept playground in a nice neighborhood. The play structure for kids is very impressive and big. Unfortunately it is a little bit too advanced for my almost 3 years old. I think she will be ready for it in a year or so.
Kids playing there were mean to my grandson they were stuck up on each other thought they were better than him
Great playground. Different types of fun for kids. Wide open space for baseball and soccer. I really love it
Plenty of fun for my kids. Great running room with nice updated playground area along with field area for baseball or a little soccer or football. Clean and comfortable place.
So much to do at Glenolden park. Been going there since I was a child! There a a great sledding/rolling down hill, and plenty of space. The playscape is big, so if you have an adventurous toddler be careful! And right across the way is Monument Park, which has a little crick and another good hill to roll down!
My children love this playground. There is multiple different things for children to: swings, jungle gym, 2 different big twisty slides, a field and a autistic park that is separate. I have an autistic daughter and she loves this playground. The people that go there for the most part are nice. I never see no argument or fights. And dogs are always on a leash.
