Golden Dragon reviews
18Awful pad Thai, not authentic. I think they put French fried onions on top, and the sauce tasted like ketchup. Not good.
This spot clearly knows how to please their clients. Always with a friendly demeanor. The food is fairly priced, always yummy and clean.
Great take-out place! The prices are great for the quality of food. Very happy to try it today and will be back for sure.
We came to this restaurant for dinner.we heard about this spot from quite a few people. Well, it was a winning.we were warmly welcomed by the crew and we felt very good. The meal was yummy. We loved this spot a lot and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Recommended.
This place. This place is where me and my girlfriend go when we decide we need to escape the stress of daily routine life. The food is honestly well worth the price. Authentic and family owned this restaurant is a definitely must try.
Not so good. I got scallops and they were actually old aand smelled fishy. Couldn't eat them. They obviously try ro save their sauces cause there was very little in the order. I do not recommend this place. I won't be back.
I went to the golden dragon, not knowing if it was good or not. Being an avid Chinese food lover, I dont like to go to many new places because I dont want to get something that I'm not going to like from another place. So I ordered the general tso's (not spicy), lo mein (no vegetables), crab ragoons and egg roll. It was all amazing.
This place does Chinese differently. Fresh veggies and big shrimp, but small portions and higher than typical prices. I've asked to add a veggie that they charged me a dollar for and then left out. There's very little sauce on all the dishes. And their policies keep changing and their prices keep going up. Not a fan.
My family and I loved the little indoor seating and the people were very nice. All of our food was also very good.
First off more expensive than most. Sweet and sour sauce tasted watered down, sesame chicken didn’t have much flavor, crab Rangoon was soggy instead of crispy, and egg rolls were small at about 1” in diameter. Chicken was cooked well and still moist but due to the lack of flavor fell flat. The Sweet Hut in Washington blew the golden dragon out of the water and cost less.
This place has reasonable prices and ok food. But it would be nice if they used white meat instead of dark meat chicken in dishes like General Tso's and other dishes that use deep fried chicken.
My kids ask for chinese food every other week this is my go to place. Order is ready in under 15min and after 10 years of going there only 1 time was my order slightly messed up. Cant beat that service. I say go durimg their lunch hours for a pop or soup included.
By far the best chinese food in Pittsburgh, freindly staff that will remeber your face and even order after only a few visits
Ordered take out. Woman didnt take my name.nor inform me on how long it would be. Immediately after I ordered.she said bye. Not a way to get customers coming back. This was my first and last visit.
TERRIBLE AWFUL, NO TASTE AT ALL, CHICKEN IS STRINGY AND HARD, LO MEIN SO GREASY, FRIED RICE TASTES BURNT, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
Horrible service the lady was very rude about a mess up they did they gave me the wrong food and then told me she gave the wrong bag to someone else then proceeded to be angry when we asked can we have our food that we ordered
This is my families choice for Chinese food. Like others commented, great family owned/operated place, great quick service, etc. I would rate them 5 stars if they didn't change their rice; it's just not the same anymore which makes a difference inboverall entree taste. And I asked for double spicy on General Tso Chicken, but wasn't spicy at all.even asked for triple spicy still wasn't spicy at all.
