This is easily my favorite falafel in Philly if not the entire US. Get the schwarma fries too! I really love the staff here, they always have a super great attitude, even when it gets busy. The cashier is really kind and helpful if you are new!

Very delicious and tasty falafel sandwich. One falafel sandwich may not be enough esp if you go without any side.

Solid falafel. Turkish coffee tahina shake was fun. I expected a stronger coffee flavor. Hard to justify paying $20+ for a falafel and shake.

Amazing place for falafel salad and sandwich place. I like falafel sandwiches with amba or harrisa sauce with extra fries. Their shawarma fries and tahini milk shakes are simply great! I find this place little pricey.

Had craving for a falafel sandwich was searching for an old place I use to go called Mamas but I didn’t find it I found Goldie’s on 19th Samson street instead. The falafel pita sandwich here was just as great, all ingredients were crunchy fresh, the tahini sauce fresh and the falafel balls at the bottom so the pita stays neat, even a tin holder. However; I would rethink the music here. I started to eat my falafel to a tune that sang
‍️“Tonight you will die, tonight you will bleed” in my head I was thinking my mouth is in nervana heaven but my mind is creeped out by the music. Offering this restaurant a most helpful Tip for I use to be a mystery shopper play chamber classical music it’s calming and relaxing and everyone likes calm music when they eat. You could have seriously done an entire Seinfeld episode about me and my falafel sandwich and that music that day. Serenity Now, lol. The staff was great. Just change that music.

Absolutely love their tehina shakes (especially the banana flavor) but at ~$8 per, they’re a little overpriced for what you get.

Good food but the wait time could be long, they need to speed up the process of getting a falafel sandwich. Should not take 20 mins

I've been coming here for a while and always get the the Harissa Falafel Sandwich. I wouldn't say it's the best falafel in the world (ie.compared to in Israel) but probably one of the best in the area. The one item that really brings down the sandwich is the pita. It doesn't taste that fresh, probably because it is always cold. The falafel itself is usually hot, though I've seen this vary in temperature. Not sure if they are fried to order.
Everything is also quite expensive for something so simple. Even something like extra harissa costs extra. For example, one of the reviews complains about the shakes getting smaller. The owner replied saying the cups got smaller due to supply issues. That's fine, but if you're reducing your portion size, you should reduce your price.

I love their tahini shakes, but I wish they had the coconaut one at this location. My advice to the owner: have the flavors rotate each week. When a person's favorite flavor is at their nearest location it becomes extra special that they get to have it.

The best falafel wrap I’ve ever eaten! Their shawarma spiced fries are also excellent. It’s my fav lunch spot on campus.

Used to be my favorite vegan place on campus. Always packed with people waiting in line. Their falafel used to be moist and flavorful and the fries were always crispy. Recently their food quality became a little fluctuating. I don't know what's the reason, but since I am graduating soon, this will become my memory soon anyways.

This was my favorite place on campus but recently they have made some changes that have declined the quality of their food and shakes. They changed their shake size from 12 ounces to about 10 ounces. They claimed it to be 12 but we measured it at home (we are scientists) and it's about 1 1/2 ounce less than it used to be. Also had the falafel balls and they are a yellow color now instead of green (not sure what changed) and have a weird after taste.

For how expensive it is, you would expect better quality like it used to be.

So sad I have to find a new favorite place on campus: (

We ordered the falafel home kit. My mom can’t have garlic and onions for religious reasons, and they were great about labeling all of the containers with ingredients and marking which had it. We got the smallest kit and there were 4 of us. It made for a perfect lunch and we also got to enjoy leftovers. The tahini sauce and pitas were amazing.

The women who work here are super! Friendly, professional, and quick with the orders. They have the DeizenGoff hummus at this location and of course it is delicious. The price is reasonable for a bowl of hummus, a side salad, and warm pita (or cucumbers for gluten free). Goldie is situated inside Franklin’s Table, a mini food court on the University of Pennsylvania campus.

Well dang.i’m not usually one to write a negative review, but here we go! I’m always happy to add 20% tip to the meal, but after i got my receipt i see that they already charge essentially a 10% gratuity.and my 20% tip wasn’t based on the base meal, but the meal PLUS taxes, SCT, AND the service charge.again, i’m happy to pay 20%, but you got me for over 30% this round.shady.oh yeah! The food.a solid 3.8.

EDIT: just got this response from the owner, "We are so sorry to hear that you felt deceived! It is absolutely not our intent. We do have signage at all locations regarding our service charge, which we use to pay our employees a living wage. We would be happy to refund that tip if you would like. We hope you otherwise enjoyed your meal, and again, our apologies for any confusion! "

i understand the concept of a living wage.please don't make it sound like you're the hero here.if the you were paying your employees a living wage in the first place, then you wouldn't need to be charging the gratuity.if i didn’t see the signage, then the signage isn’t prominent enough.still no mention as to why the tip is added ON TOP of all other taxes and charges.try again, goldie.and keep the tip.

Very easy ordering system for their delicious falafel dishes. The tahini shake lives up to the hype

Probably my favorite falafel in the city. The tahini shake is a must try. It's like they've some how added even more heart clogging saturated fat than would be in a normal milk shake (though plant based!) and the result is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

Completely overrated ate with some fellow Israelis we could not palate it. They are always out of everything and with all due respect to Chef Solmonov but I had more beets in my food than a beet farm. People that do not know real hummus with be fooled and call it "authentic. "
