Thrift Store Goodwill reviews
17Girl at register today was phenomenal! Very nice, professional, great attitude. I wish I got her name.
Great experience, super friendly customer service by Amanda Nicole, even while dealing with a rude woman.
Stood in line for 16 minutes while customer in front of me asked to look at every piece of jewelry, wii game, etc.that was behind the counter. I had 3 pieces. There were 2 cashier people, one register open. I asked if they could open another register. I was told no because it was night shift (5 30) and only one register was allowed open at this time. Manager.open another register when a long line is forming because one customer is taking awhile. Do not make the other customers wait in line.
I was totally shocked at the conditions of the place and inventory. I thought they were supposed to be a lot light for those who were having a hard time.
At checkout had an error with the register, but the ladies were great and got us checked out fast on the second register. Very friendly. And who doesn't love thrift shopping?
I love stopping in when the staff is nice, which is about 70% of the time, depending on who is working. I stopped in last week and I guess it was the wrong people. I knew exactly what I was going in for and where to find it, I had 10 minutes to spare and the sign out front did say "Open". Upon entering, the cashier said "We're closing in 10 minutes" to which I replied "Yep" and she immediately said yep in a mocking tone. I said I know what I'm going for, I went back and got it, and was at the checkout line with 6 minutes until closing. Then this other man (from the staff) walks by cursing me and others in line out because they were closing and we should all be gone. Hmm.doesn't seem to me like these people were grateful to have a job and definitely should NOT be working with the public. I've been at my job MANY times when people come in at the last moment and I never minded. Sure, I may not be getting out as soon as I thought, but hey, I'm making more money.so who cares? Bottom line, if you go, just know that you may run into some very cranky people.
Decent prices. Decent items. Would've been a four star or better had the old cashier not been snitty and rude.
Very experienced people, it is clean, better items than Sallys, prices are low. And today was all purple items are. 49, and all green and furniture was half price. You can not go wrong. Near the mall.
Prices a little high. Not much choice for any size. Could hear the employees in the back talking about other people. Very poor thing to do. If you can't say anything nice say nothing at all.
Stuff is priced to high for the people who have to shop there. Felt bad for the lady i took there couldn't even afford to buy a shirt she liked.
Not very friendly or helpful. Only 1 person in the store. Will say store is clean but I will not return.
Big store with very little inventory. Buy from Salvation Army or other thrift stores for better quality, prices and where CEO does not get paid millions. Gone downhill in the last 10 years.
Glad to have a local place I can drop my old stuff off to and have it go to good use vs chucking it
It seemed to have no organization to it. It has alot of stuff but just throughout the store with no division.
This is a nice little thrift store. Yes, some things are overpriced; however, there are great deals, if you wait for the $0.49 sales! They rotate stock, using colored tags. At the end of shelf life, all tags of that color are $0.49. I bought a gorgeous wool coat, suits, and many other items, just $0.49 each. At that price, you can pick up items for family and friends, with nothing to lose! The people who work at the Buckhorn Goodwill are FABULOUS!
Prices are INSANE. I could go to a store and buy brand new clothes for cheaper. I don't understand how they justify their prices. Go to Salvation Army instead.
