Gourmet Buffet & Grill, Allentown PA

Nothing gourmet about this place, that's for sure.
I go to these budfet places strictly to eat sushi and hibachi.
Sushi is just rice rolls and very small amounts of fillings, the hibachi is ok, and ice cream is melted.

Leaving this bad review out of spite.one of my favorites YouTubers B. O. B came here and was yelled at by the chef preparing the sushi saying he is eating too much how can you call yourself and all you can eat buffet and not allow people to eat all they can eat.

I come here all the time. At one point the employees started to see I was a regular. And since then, I feel comfortable coming here to pick my food up.

My gf and I came to this buffet 5 minutes from our hotel we came to go to dorney park and I got hungry after came to this buffet and the food was okay not so good I ate Iany buffet restaurants but this one was not too good and they not really following covid regulations here that much with mask

So I have been to many Chinese buffets over the years. This buffet is great. Most Chinese buffets are normally very oily or greasy. Every thing was well prepared. Many options of Sushi and pretty good tastes. None of the food was overcooked. But I got to tell you. Great experience. I recommend.

The place is dangerous -no napkins, no gloves. Yes. No napkins and no gloves. We were worried the COVID virus while we were there. Food looks messy and old. I went around 3 times and can’t find anything I want to eat. The owner is very mean. Lunch buffet is good until 3: 30. We walked in at 3: 15, she told the waitress to charge us dinner rate. We said we came in for lunch. We settled that we are only going to eat lunch items. While we were eating, she came to audit and told us again and again that we can not touch dinner plates as if we have taken the dinner plates. Furthermore, she told the waitress to switch the lunch sign of the plates to dinner sign of the original lunch items. We paid full price for the lunch. Now, most of the lunches items are gone. We were “cheated” with much fewer choices. We overpaid! We were treated like we were going in to take advantage of them. It was our first time there. It is going to be our last time too. Zero service. Bad attitude. Food tasted horrible. Lost appetite due to they kept on bothering us. We regretted that we didn’t walk away when this nasty owner told the waitress to charge us dinner price.

The food was really good, which is shocking because buffet food is usually kinda mushy and gross. They kept circulating new food. They have section where you can make your own lo mein and mei fun, even gives you protein choices to add in (chicken, steak, lobster, shrimp). They also had a very fresh sushi section, including chicken tempura which you don’t see (ever) in a Chinese buffet. And it was a pretty cheap price for a Friday night buffet $14. Well worth it.

Food was very good and hot all through the meal. Wear your mask and they give you gloves when entering. Use the gloves to get your food at the bars. Enjoyed every bit!

Bathroom was dirty.towels over flowing in trash can.
Waitresses are not friendly at all. Had to ask for drink refills
They just stare at you while you eat
They should not speak Chinese they are rude and can t say Thank you

I came here for the first place, I have to say the layout of the place is awesome, when you walk in it’s not crowded and their is plenty of space. Talking about the food, it wasn’t fresh, the rice was hard as if was heated up idk how many times, not a big verity of sushi and I’m a big sushi person, and sweets were tasteless totally not fresh. To conclude my review it was a ok place to eat, but I wouldn’t come here again. The deliciousness of food comes first before the atmosphere of the restaurant. I hope the owner will hear me and fix the freshness of the food and also add some more dishes and sushi.

No way, no how, never again. They forgot to put the word Chinese in the title. They have very little American food. The buffet has mostly fried Chinese food. It's like a fast food- Chinese food place.

I love this place, it's good each and every time! But recently I've noticed that the boneless spare ribs have been taken off the buffet. I know the bone-in ones are still up there, but I LOVED them and now they're gone. If somehow these can be resurrected by the buffet gods, I'd be very thankful. Other than that, wonderful buffet.

This place has a great Asian atmosphere, great service, clean functional rest rooms, plenty of parking, and the food is great.

I've been to a lot if terrible Chinese restaurants and even more terrible buffets, but this one is definitely in my top 5 worst. The food was awful. Literally everything was terrible. The food they did have out wasn't close to fresh and the new food that was brought out was super watered down. The ice cream wasn't even safe. It was so freezer burnt you couldn't even scoop it. Even the staff couldn't be bothered to acknowledge our existence after we were seated. I'd give zero stars if I could.

Place is great for dine in.if you order to go make sure to only stick to a specific food group or you will be over charged.

I used to come here often and enjoyed the experience but today was a different story. Never in my life have I ever had a waitress ask if I’m paying the bill, then stare at me until we paid. Then after we paid, she stood there and stared at us until we left. We were only there for about 30 minutes. Mind you, there were plenty of seats as it was barley empty, and I’m 100% sure she reacted that way because my boyfriend is black. I’ve been there often and spent at least an hour there and never had that treatment. I’m never coming back.

This place is delicious it always have seafood at a reasonable price for the buffet it cost me 30 maybe $35 for the family of four for dinner children can eat their Pizza Big Daddy gets his clams and Mama gets her Crab legs MMMMMM! I REALLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IT IS DELICIOUS

Go there all the time. Love the place! I would have given it 5 stars, but they no longer have the one section open, except on the weekends, plus they no longer have my favorite dish, which was salt and pepper frogs legs. They were absolutely delicious and meaty! Other than that though, the food is fantastic, however, lately, the service has been lacking. They used to come around a lot and refill your water, and ask if you wanted more tea.etc, but no one seems to do that anymore. Service is poor.

When going person is the best lomein in town omg! But ordering online is not very effective i highly recommend you visit the place, clean, nice and good food.
