Very nice pool, but could be more family friendly. No shade anywhere except for one tree which always has a summer camp taking up the space. Snackbar has ZERO healthy options. No fruit and and no veggies: (

Lifecards are incredibly rude to adults and mean to children. It is obvious the life guards are only interested in socializing and they often antagonize families.

I had to bribe my nephew (4yrs old) to get out of the pool with two cup cakes and walk directly to the car, it was the only way!

So, today I decided to take my younger siblings to the pool to only be told I need my id. Now tell me who needs to bring an Id to the pool. They would not let us in and on top of that everyone who works there are basically kids. No one answers the phone, they over charge and they basically make up rules without putting them on the website. How are people suppose to know to bring an ID to a POOL. For this to be the only public pool in York and them to do this is ridiculous. I have been coming to this pool every summer for five years.

Always had a great experience when I go. Nice fun place to go if you don't want to leave the city limits.

The swimming facilities are fine and the locker rooms and bathrooms are clean. But there are too many rules to have fun. I have a 3 year old that can't swim on his own yet, so he likes hang on to my back while I swim (in 3.5 ft of water), but we were told by a lifeguard that we can't do that. We won't be back.

I love going to the outdoor pool with my friends, it's always lots of fun. You have to pay $8to get in. But you can buy snacks once your in ranging from $5 and $0.25
