Incredible food and the inside is so beautiful. I had the prime rib and it was delicious. The almond crusted Brie appetizer was also a big hit. A must try for a fancy night out in Pittsburgh.

Nice Thanksgiving dinner. Delicious food. Love the donut machine. The best donut that I ever had. Service is not very good. Not very friendly and have to wait long time to get a check. May be because of Thanksgiving, very busy and they might be tired. Will go back again for another day (not busy day)

On a scale of romance novels to documentaries, the Grand Concourse is the sweetest possible romance with a twist of history. I must honestly compare it to Rachel McMillan's The London Restoration with its weighty, historical romances tied to gorgeous architecture.

The Grand Concourse offers a jaw-dropping dining experience with its gorgeous architecture and vaulting ceilings.

We made reservations easily and went to the Sunday Brunch with drinks included. I opted for a mango Bellini as well (and paid extra). What an experience with all the delicious food options (doughnuts hot off the press and omelets made to order)!

It truly was a magical experience.

Parking: We opted to park ourselves in the Station Square lot (rather than the parking garage since it was a bit further of a walk) though Grand Concourse does offer valet parking.

Setting is beautiful, but. Overcooked lobster, fish not fresh, bland, boring sides. Servers are overwhelmed due to understaffing.

Awesome Thanksgiving dinner. Great food and desserts. Drinks were also very good along with service. Highly recommend. Atmosphere was exciting. Had a window table with views of the skyline.

Avoid this place. Sky-high prices, yet lousy service and below-average food. Staff was over-worked and bad-mouthed the management. Kitchen appeared to be a lost cause. On the positive side the architecture of the Grand Concourse creates pleasant atmosphere, as long as you don’t mind waiting 90 minutes for your burnt entree to arrive.

We were celebrating our one year anniversary and they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Even gave us a table with an amazing view! The Butternut Squash Soup and Banana Foster Creme Brulee were amazing and I would definitely go back for just those two items! I wasn't a fan of the crispy duck but my partner enjoyed the stuffed salmon. Our server, whose name I cannot recall, was attentive but not invasive, we enjoyed his services.

I have to say that after reading all of the positive reviews, I was extremely disappointed in the overall experience. The food was generally very good but the service was bizarre. I got the sense that everyone who works here is unhappy. The overall atmosphere felt as though the guests were an exhausting inconvenience. Our server was slow to begin with. She never welcomed us and was strangely abrupt throughout the entire meal. Dishes were thrust under our faces, she never recommended anything on the menu, no mention or suggestions of chefs specials. When the bill came the prices did not comport with what was shown on the menu. I did not want to embarrass my friends so I said nothing. I have eaten in many, many fabulous restaurants around the country and I have never spent $200 on lunch for such an incredibly unwelcoming experience. I have literally had better service at Burger King. I will not be returning, which is sad because I was looking forward to trying out the brunch. It's a beautiful historic space but the depressed forlorn staff is a disaster. If your team is weak nothing else matters. Giving them a generous 3 stars but be forewarned.

It was awesome. Went to a private party on the porch and we had an amazing time. The food was wonderful and the service was good. Especially the bar keepers.

Our server was great! But I ordered the lobster and I ended up getting food poisoning a couple hours later.

Pricey but the food is always good and the location and atmosphere is one of a kind with this former train station converted to restaurant. Great city skyline views and they valet cars on weekends.

Went for the Sunday Brunch with family. Absolutely no complaints. The food was all fresh and continuously being replenished. The options ranged from traditional eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, bacon to prime rib, chicken, hot vegetables, salads, desserts and everything in between.
Too numerous to mention all the good food available.
If you can.make a reservation and enjoy delicious food, great service and an enjoyable experience.
We'll definitely be going back.

If anyone is wondering what this picture is it is my $36 6oz "Medium" Fillet Mignon that was smashed like a burger on a grill over cooked and dry I also had their broccoli instead of asparagus the stems were warm the florets were cold I mean you can literally touch them and they were cold. The mashed potatoes were very good but the best part of my experience was our server Olivia. She was kind talkative and attentive. I've been in the service industry for over 14 years so I understand the food was not her fault and also I did not complain to her and I do not send food back. The person I was with ordered the Steak and Lobster tail he ordered it rare it came out closer to raw but he also is an animal and enjoys that so he was fine with it but the lobster tail came out so over cooked it was shriveled up to the point of a 2 bite chew and it was gone. With drinks and all our bill was $153 we left $200 because like I said it was not our waitresses fault but for being a higher end restaurant I was extremely disappointed. The only thing I can say is the staff was very kind besides Oliva there was a gentleman who overheard us talking about trying to get the pepper out of their pepper shakers he came over and asked if we would like some fresh ground pepper and laughed about how the pepper shakers do have small holes. Another gentleman who serves there was talking to us about all the old train station wood and pointing out old things about the building which was nice especially at the end of our dinner which helped changed the mood of our exit.
Besides the staff I have nothing truly positive to say about going their for a delicious dinner.

I made reservation with my GF. Breads with spreads is delicious. For starters, coconut shrimp + oyster is so tasty. For main course, however, kind of disappointing: Pasta noodle should not sticking together. Steak was ordered medium-rare but few pieces were rare (in middle). The view of Pittsburgh and interior design are great.

Excellent food and great ambience! The view of the rivers and downtown Pittsburgh is fantastic. Parking was a bit of a problem because of the crowd. Our server was friendly and courteous, but seemed a bit absent-minded as he forgot to bring the complimentary bread basket for a long time. He also took an order for desserts very enthusiastically even though the kitchen staff were done for the day, resulting in him bringing out just a cold unfinished pudding. I would have preferred that he would have advised us to choose something else or let us know that the kitchen had closed already.

We had heard great things about brunch, so decided to stop in for happy hour. Happy hour is at the bar and patio (bar only the night we were there). The service was surly and inefficient. Took about 15 min after ordering to receive martinis and almost an hour to receive oysters. The oysters were poorly cleaned and barely shucked - full of grit, still attached to the shell. Would recommend against visiting this restaurant. It's a beautiful building, but terrible restaurant.

I did want to add that the table next to us seemed to have a terrible experience. I wasn't going to say anything on here, but I just read another review about the staff being unhappy and strangely abrupt and those were some of the complaints from the table next to us about their server so there is probably some validity to the other reviewer's statement. Just saying. These poor ppl were celebrating and had to beg for drinks they never got. I believe they paid for them and remembered the girl had never brought them. And she wasn't coming around enough and when she did she was just not happy to help. I'm so glad we had Rita. She was wonderful and cheerful and just the right amount of hello and see ya later. Lol. And yes, you can't teach personality, Rita. But you got it girl.

First time here for Thanksgiving buffet, very organized and efficient.
Staff was extremely friendly. Food was decent and dessert was very diverse. Since it was our first time we weren’t told about where everything was. When we asked what the station upon entering was, we were told it was “dessert” later found our it was a build your own pasta, which we missed out on once we paid and checked out.
Was nice to try, wouldn’t go again.
