Grandpa's Love Shack

Went with my family and the waitress only came when our food was delivered. Never returned after that. Never even got our check, I had to go to the register and tell them what we ordered to pay. The cheesesteak sub tasted like Steak Ems from the grocery store. The food was salted so much that none of us finished it. Although the atmosphere was cool it does not make any sense to return.

This place is amazing! Two of us shared the sample plate and had tons of leftovers. Everything was good. The ribs were my favorite. The pulled pork was my husband's favorite. Brisket was a little tough, but there was so much other stuff I didn't have room for it anyway

Ordered pulled pork sandwich, beans, mac and cheese. Boys ordered a cheesbuger sub to share and fresh cut fries.

I serously could not pick up my sandwich to eat it the bottom roll was so soaked and mushy. Large portion of pulled pork that was bland and very salty. Beans and mac and cheese were ok but again bland and tasted out of a can or stouffers mac and cheese as someone else stated. The sub was very large and my boys said it was ok. The fresh cut fries are the best thing going here and although i like salt, they also were served very salty. I got the tangy bbq sauce for my sandwich which honestly looked like caramel sauce when it came out and was really bad. Sorry, i had high hopes. Been striking out getting a good bbq place lately. Staff and atmosphere are fine, food needs some work.

We eat here all the time when we visit our son. The burgers are delicious and the brisket is amazing. Love the 60's atmosphere. Reminds us of happy times long ago.

I ate here for the first time today and enjoyed the food, service, and cleanliness of the establishment. Will definitely be back!

First time visitor, really enjoyed it. I've passed it hundreds of times and I'm glad I finally stopped. My food was delicious. I'll be back.

We stopped in Friday night for the first time to hook up with some friends outside. We waited 15 min to get waited on for drinks. We ordered the sampler for $24.99 to share with 2 sides. The portions were a nice size put wasn't impressed with the ribs. Ribs were bland and the pulled pork was very fatty. Very disappointed because we always heard about the place.

Incredible stop. Our first trip, won't be the last. Great food and service and prices. Thank you!

I have been on an “ I gotta loose weight kick” well just cause you like Granpas steak subs doesn’t mean you can’t loose weight. I have been getting the awesome cheesesteak on a side salad. So good and filling. I have lost 40lbs and haven’t stopped going to grandpa’s.

1st time there, we were passing by and decided to stop. Great decision. Staff was very friendly, Phil the owner and chef came out to ask how things were going, he did this to every table.
Food was amazing. Can't wait to go back.

First time there. Great food and waitress very professional and polite. Food was a little slow coming from the kitchen. 35 minutes from time ordered until served for a cheeseburger?

Having dinner with the Class of 1958 Green Park Union High School, monthly get together. Very good Whiskey and Beer.

Very bland pulled pork sandwich. Sure, there's plenty of it, but so what. The staff was friendly and drinks never went dry.

Had a huge brisket sandwich which was excellent with beans a day slaw that were also good.

Had 2 guys with guitars who played a lite of everything and interacted with the crowd very well.

Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The Thursday dinner buffet was good but the kind lady that gave each of my two daughters a duck after watching me lose twice at the claw machine was great!

Nice place to go for Sunday buffet. Great Atmosphere. Very friendly environment. Peace out, my friends.
