Yes it's not used enough for novice boarders.best by walking or bike.we could do better.especially, since boarding is in Olympics.luv philly,

Such a fun park. Cement, it's in the shade the whole time. Had so much fun here

Unfortunately this beautiful park in the middle of industrial zone is not properly maintained by the city and by the local community. There is a lot of garbage lying around, not enough garbage bins, pet parents are not collecting excrements after their furry friends, and the odor from huge garbage bins behind the fence, which make it somewhat uncomfortable to exercise. Neiboring construction is not completely isolated from the trail users. Also a big washout on the trail, although marked, needs repairs.

Skatepark itself is pretty small anymore than 4 people there and its a decent wait since its usually one a time. Definitely a good practice spot.

This area is not iconic to me due to the skatepark however this is a well known fishing location where some of the largest catfish and carp in the city can be found. It’s also a bit popular with people looking to stretch their legs by walking along the trail that appears to end at my fishing hole.
