Great Clips, Pittsburgh PA

Today we use hair cut for my kids but the lady there cut his hair in the back so badly that it made his skin in the back fully red and also bleed a little bit.

Loved getting a coupon. (I am retired and appreciate savings) sign in on line and parked right in front of salon. Clean, quiet and very friendly staff. Great cut and out quickly. Great place to get a haircut.

The girls were wonderful to get me in when the line was long but no one had come in yet for their scheduled time.

Heather cut my hair. It was good to see her back. She did a great job and exactly how I wanted it. Thank you, Heather.

After signing in on line, after walking in was the first to receive service. Lady who cut my hair was very friendly and efficient, was in and out in about 15 minutes.

Excellent service. Skilled staff. They listen to customers. Provide good tips for hair maintenance. Prompt and easy scheduling.

I have had a number of haircuts at this location and have always been pleased. Never again. Today I got there at opening and got on list. I sat in my car and waited the 35 estimated minutes and wasn’t called. I went and checked and I was first on list. I waited outside the door (no one had a mask on, contrary to what the website claimed) and no one called me. They took two people who were inside ahead of me. Shoddy, shoddy customer service.

Would NOT recommend going here! I went for a hair cut yesterday and was lectured the whole time about how “I need to use a heat protector. ” My whole entire time in her chair, the lady kept pointing out and belittling me for not “taking proper care of my hair. ” The lady was miserable and made the experience horrible for me. She didn’t even talk to me about what heat protector to use! She kept making comments such as “I bet this is where you start flat ironing your hair. ” If I cared more about my hair, I wouldn’t be going to great clips for a haircut and if I wanted to be lectured, I would have asked her opinion. Do NOT GO HERE.

Very easy to tell stylist that I have neck issues. She was super gentle, patient and kind for me. I'm so happy with my hair. Get compliments daily.

Never had a bad experience getting my haircut here. Thier currently shortstaffed so i reccpmend the online check in and patience. They are good people who dp great work

Most of the hairdressers are okay but you really want the manager to cut your hair she's the only one that does things consistent

Went to Great Clips across from Sam's Club & got a wonderful haircut. Employees there are quite nice.

Always do the online check in and walk right in normally at given time. Stylists are always friendly. Good for a quick trim if you have a coupon!

If you close at 8 and it's already 7 and 5 - 6 people waiting on the line; talking, discussing & researching about current kid's possible haircut is a terrible idea, just cut his hair and move on to the next! There are styling schools for the research and discussions and this is not one of those! Could not cancel at the final hour and walked out experiencing the unprofessionalism! Had better experience at this place before thus 2 stars, current situation is! Where are the stylists used to work here before?

Didn't have to wait like other Great Clips. And my Barber was good! She gave me a perfect cut!

Worst haircut of my life, went in before a job interview asked for 1-1 1/2" left in the top, ended up with 1/4" on one side of the top and 1/2" on the other, my head looked so hacked up, I just paid and left, didn't want to end up bald if they tried to fix it. Went home and had my wife try to straighten it out, luckily my interview was through zoom so I just used a ton of gel to try to make it look somewhat presentable. I have gone to great clips for years with no issues, it was my first time at this location. Maybe in a week or two I can grow out my hair enough to get it fixed.

I usually go to sports clips but was in a hurry, there was no wait here. The hair cut was much cheaper than sports clips. Next time I'll pay the extra $7 for a decent hair cut at sport clips.

Edit: no need for me to reach out to the store, wouldn't return for a free haircut. Simple clipper cut.

I've been here abrasive times and every haircut has been great. The stylists listen to me requests and always make sure I leave happy.

I can always expect a quality cut from here. Once I got my cut down the way I wanted it, it doesn't matter who does my hair, it's always the way I want it. Everyone here does an amazing job! Would recommend.
