Great Wall Chinese Restaurant, Dunmore PA

Ordered shrimp with snow peas and only got WHITE ingredients NO SNOW PEAS! They refused to fix the order and send me another and said THEY WERE TOO BUSY TO FIX MY ORDER NOW but they’ll give me credit for a future order as if I wanna order from there ever again! So now I don’t eat lunch!

As an avid Chinese food lover, this was one of the worst Chinese food experiences my fiancée and I ever had. Do not recommend at all.

First off, I used their online website where I could have sworn I selected “Szechuan chicken” but turns out the app clicked shrimp for me? Maybe a user mistake on my part, that is fine, but upon telling the woman, she felt no remorse and kept shoving me off the phone saying “goodnight, goodnight” and nothing about potentially bringing it back or even paying half to get the chicken order. We decided to give it a chance and it was horrendous. The “shrimp Szechuan” was just gnarly smelling sauce with barely cooked vegetables and I counted maybe (3) shrimp. My fiancée got the general Tso’s chicken and the chicken was just super mushy. The chicken and pork fried rices were overpacked with onions and had no taste. We can’t even tell you if the chicken in the rices and general Tso’s was actually chicken. Attached photos because the presentation of all the items were nasty. Also, the shrimp Szechuan was so saucy it was dripping through the bag.

First and only time ever coming here. Never coming here again.

Short Review: The food was just "okay"

Full Review: In total my fiancé and I ordered a General Tso's Chicken Spicy Combo, a Sweet and Sour Chicken Combo, an order of Cheese Wontons, and a Pint of Roast Pork Lo Mein. The General Tso's Chicken was not good, tasted mostly bread and maybe 10% chicken. The egg rolls were also just average tasting. The Sweet and Sour Chicken was passable, but nothing to rave about. The Lo Mein also tasted just okay, could have had more flavor. The Cheese Wontons were surprisingly good though, as well as the pork fried rice included in the Combo Meals. Overall it wasn't a bad experience per say, but definitely not great. There are much better options for Chinese food in the area, and I would only order from here again as a last resort.

Delicious and fresh Chinese food. Have ordered from here multiple times and always been satisfied with the food, our order has never been messed up. Since moving to the area this has become our go to Chinese place and they offer affordable delivery options as well!

Was going to order delivery from you. But in this terrible economy, you force people ordering delivery to spend at least $20. My order was for myself and would've been $18. Would've been $22 after tip. You are greedy and therefore you get none of my money. Goodbye.

Waited over an hour for my food. The shrimp was so soft and mushy. Food was disgusting. So disappointed

Recently bought food from them & I wasn't happy about how overcooked the chicken in my meal was. Their food is usually a lot better than that. Needless to say I may or may not order food from them again.

I really enjoy the shrimp egg rolls delivery is always fast kind and courteous and also pick up they are so friendly

Great food. However the young lady who takes the order is dissmissive and rude. Revently moved here and am currently living on take out. Every tine i have ordered i get cut off and have to call back to request utensils and napkins. After four deliveries and not once recieving so much as a fork i give up. Food is tasty though.

Waited a hour and a half for the most blandest Chinese food I’ve ever eaten in my life! They don’t deserve even that one star honestly never been more disappointed with a Chinese food store in my life

Good food and kind people, they gave me extra fortune cookies so this place is definitely on my top 5 for best restaurants.
