Great Wolf Lodge Water Park Pocono Mountains

If you can afford to go somewhere else, go someplace else. I've been to multiple indoor waterpark resorts and this was the worst one. The rooms, even though they were clean, were in need of repair and updates. Same goes for the Waterpark. Lots of cracks in the pool decking compared to other places. Magi-quest is the thing to do if you're not at the waterpark, but be prepared for a work out going up & down the stairs. The elevator is a little on the sketchy side so we preferred the stairs for the majority of the time we were there. My children (9,8,6) had fun and that's all that really matters, but we won't be returning anytime soon.

We really enjoyed our room, the staff was very patient and friendly, they understand that the kids will be kids, and the water park was great, there were towels there, fun activities, etc. Recommended to go there for families

Had such an amazing experience! Super spacious and clean/fun room and my server at breakfast, Makayla was so sweet, helpful, and kind, as were the rest of the service. Definitely recommend for all ages, families especially

Amazing place for a great family vacation. Staff was amazing in all areas. Lifeguards were impressive, very attentive and alert.

The room was very good.
The water park was good.
The mine maze was good.
The food was ok — Applebee's quality.

The people on the reservation team is not from the USA or they have never ever been to any of the properties. And their customer service was not the best. The experience at the park was wonderful. When I checked in I told the lady checking me in my experience with reservation and she was so nice she save me a voucher, with the intention to make my experience better which was wonderful and great. My kids had an amazing time.

Nice place to come with Family and Kids, some of the rooms are noisy at night so plan ahead, the water park is great for all ages and the lines are not long at all. Staff are nice and friendly. Lots of food options and activities, Overall highly recommend.

This place was great! We went at the end of the week and the price was great for it. Make sure you read your reservation confirmation, though. The site said a TV for the kids (wolf den) for our room, but only some of them have it. It was more detailed on the confirmation. Food and gifts bought there are extremely expensive. $30 for a bubble wand but they did give free wolf ears at the beginning of our stay. They also have many free activities for children, including crafts and a dance party before bed. The water park was a blast, though 3 days was a little too much for my toddlers. We loved the children's area with slides because the water was perfect height for them, 1'6". Can't wait to go back!

Room was small but enough to fit a stroller and bags under counters. Wish there was a way to manage lights better so that the sleeping area is dark while the couch area is lit up.
Enough food options. Much Better food than at some places (ie Sesame Street).
Not too long of a wait for bowling or min golf.
Water park- not enough seats for everyone. People line up and put towels on their seats at least 15 min before opening. Then when you want to eat somewhere there is nowhere to eat.
The toddler/ kid slides and stairs are by outside doors and it’s the coldest part of the park. They should isolate better.
Overall 1 night was enough (screaming kids, did all the activities in two days).

There are outlets 6 minutes away with a croc store and food places that came in handy.

It's an excellent waterpark close to home. The themed rooms will remind you of being in Disney. It's a bit expensive for a 2-night stay, but it is so worth it. The pocono outlet mall is just a short 5-minute drive.

Amazing time, I went their for anniversary trip and despite being a kids centered resort we had a great time, water park was highlight very fun for all.room was big, spacious, warm, great.food only really fast food options their, needs to work on having better dinning options.only downside parking was a nightmare. I would definitely go back though.

Rooms - decent enough, although we did find a rotten sandwich in the fridge.
I personally found the beds uncomfortable, but others in my party found the beds comfortable.
The soaps and conditioners are locked to the shower wall, with great wolf lodge being geared toward a family stay, one would assume the shampoo and conditioner offered would be tear free at minimum, however my young daughter screamed in agony as she got shampoo in her eyes, considering Great wolf lodge is geared toward children, I'm surprised it isn't tear free shampoo.

Service- the service, wow, the service. Whether we're talking about the service desk (reception), restaurant, or pool/waterpark staff, the employees proved to be either completely inept, casually callus, or just "new" and unable to answer even the most basic questions. Complete lack of basic training with no oversight.

Food - we had the dinner buffet, it reminded of a school cafeteria or a retirement home with the majority of the food being bland.water park - multiple fixtures were broken, and slides were in obvious poor repair.

Considering Kalahari is very close, I would suggest you take your business there, I know I will in the future. Great wolf is just not worth the visit.

In my opinion, the Great Wolf is worth it ONLY during a sale. Paying full price for this place is a sour pill to swallow, especially when other local options are available.

So I went here last year around valentines day and this place incredible this year I went to the new one in maryland and it was nothing like Pocono's. Perryville's had so many complications including soundproof, hot-cold water, and much more. Pocono's water was perfect for all ages my 2 year old daughter loved Pocono's but Perryville's was closer so we decided to try it. I wish we went to Pocono's this year for her.

Do not go here. There are other options, and even though I had not gone to them it will be better than here. This location is either inept or criminal.

After being double charged for an adventure pass, I called they said all was good and that I will be refunded. Sounds easy, but not for Worse Wolf Lodge. Instead of a refund I was charged again. So now I was charged 3 times and called again. Billing can only handle towel charges, wow. Got sent to the front desk. They said they issued the refund, I told her I needed proof, she said she was going to email it. Guess what email never shows up. I wanted to stay on the line with her until I received the email, but she hung up.

If you stay here, do not trust the charges, they will screw it up and never have the ability to fix it. The only thing they will do is add to the charges.
