Greek American Grill reviews
16Food was amazing! The lamp and lemon potatoes were a good mix. Gyro plates was also very tasty. The pitas were hiding under the fries.
Not fancy, but super friendly and attentive staff. Delicious, authentic greek food with reasonable prices and very generous portions. Too bad I was just passing through Scranton, otherwise I would definitly go back! Especially for the Galaktoboureko! O. M. G. Go get a piece of this with a coffee for breakfast! I brought a slice back to Boston for my wife and she is still raving about it!
Ordered online DoorDash 3 dinners 2 chicken Souvlaki platters and one combination. $55 There were 2 chicken and 1 pork platter not a combination. The meat on all 3 platters was totally overcooked and extremely dry. The pork was the worse. Called the restaurant very apologetic said to call DoorDash for a full refund. Called DoorDash would only give a partial credit of $15 for a $55 bill. My advice don’t use DoorDash!
We had the gyro. She also had the calamari. I would definitely eat the gyro again. It was quite amazing and for $11 it is a great deal. The staff was friendly. I wish I would have taken a picture prior to crushing the gyro. You really can't go wrong. We stopped on a trip across country and again you need the gyro in your life.
Great food and friendly staff.
One of the best gyros I've had in a long time. But you really can't go wrong here. Everything is excellent and the staff is all so friendly.
The Greek meatballs are great, so is the roasted Feta with honey. The half roasted chicken with apple stuffing is excellent, so is the lamb shank. Their bagels are the best anywhere in the area.
The deserts are great too, with a wide assortment to choose from.
I definitely recommend them!
The staff is so friendly and competent here which makes the experience great! The food goes even further! Opa!
Had an awesome experience. The food was out of this world, place was absolutely spotless, the portions were huge, our waitress was extremely nice and attentive, and it was extremely affordable relative to other places in the area. Great place to go on a date, by yourself, or with your family. All of the food was amazing, but I’d definitely Rex getting the roasted feta with honey and sesame seeds. Do yourself a favor and try them out, you won’t be disappointed.
$9 for 5 under cooked Mozzarella sticks. The platter came out tasted like the meat was drug through the parking lot. Never again
Wow, this place is just OK, and barely. I would not recommend. Philly cheese Stake dry, very dry. Not truly Greek salads. Gyro meat was good, but pita was dry and stale. I’m from out of town and know very good Greek food. This was nothing close to that. Very blah. Pancakes were OK. Fries OK. But this is just a small
Town diner. Service was good; very nice people. But good not good.
Excellent food! The service not so much. I had to go to the waitress more than once because she never came to our table asking if we needed or wanted something.
I wanted something for lunch and came across this place. I called in my order of the haddock meal with yellow rice and spinach. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked in and seen where to pay. I told the lady my name and she grabbed my food and I paid. When I dug in the meal was very good. I enjoyed the flavors and the spinach with the haddock was very good. I definitely would return.
Food is amazing! Customer service is awesome, people are friendly and food was made surprisingly fast. Will be returning.
Took forever. Salad not dressed with as much as a lemon. Pita buried under food and wet and soggy. Tzatziki thin and barely rated an eh. Keftedes were so over cooked they were hard as a rock and turned to dust after you chisel your way through them. My dog even turned away from it when I tried to give it to him. Huge disappointment. Hostess/waitress surprised and confused as to why it was soooooo busy at 6PM on a Saturday night.it wasn't. Half tables still open.
Clean, friendly service, diner style menu. Breakfast all day, Greek, Italian and American options. Food portions are large so you won't leave hungry. Will definitely go again when I'm in the area.
The portions are HUGE and the prices are great! Our server was wonderful. In fact, the whole staff was warm and welcoming. The restaurant is casual and clean. My friend and I were very pleased. We got 2 gyros and got a third one free. I could barely finish the first one, so I'll be excited for lunch tomorrow.
