Green Eggs Cafe reviews
21I loved the food and the service. I've been to three of their four locations and this one is the biggest and BEST location.
Had a great experience at this location. I've been to the one on Girard and definitely like Gaul Street better.more space for sure. I ordered a med well steak with eggs and home fries. Very fulfilling and appetizing. Parking is slim to none it seems, but I found a spot luckily with no issues. Very friendly staff!
They had flies all over us while trying to eat. Ewww. It was horrible.
They had attitudes this day.
Waitress and bar girls didn't want to take my latte back to re make another. Finally got a manager and she did.
Usually a pretty good spot.
This is my favorite place to eat breakfast they always amaze me in the fast service and the delicious food love love it here.
I ordered the kitchen sink, a side of bacon, and the caramel latte. Food came out in a reasonable time. Even though I’m not a fan of thick cut bacon, it was still tasty. Service was great.
Parking can be a hassle and it’s cash only but there’s an ATM inside.
Kate the manager is way cool, she listens to feedback and executes effectively.this food was soo good to my stomach. I took a few bites several times over the whole wknd. I'm am most grateful to the staff. Looking fieqaedcto returning soon.
We love this place. We go at least once a month and sometimes weekly. The food is always delicious and fast. If you're there in the morning on the weekend, there will probably be a wait. And head up! They're cash only but have on ATM with a super low fee inside.
The food was amazing great service staff were friendly and fast deff recommend eating breakfast here maybe little difficult to find parking but it's deff worth it
Service was slow.we didn't get our order taken for 20 minutes! But when our food arrived, we were NOT disappointed! Good food and hefty portions! Going back soon!
The atmosphere was plain. The food had a weird taste, hard to describe but when I told my co-diner it seemed like you could taste the pan it was cooked in she agreed. Staff was very friendly and attentive, food presentation was good and the menu had many interesting options. I may try them again in the future.
Update and BEWARE: I definitely will not be back. I didn't notice the sneaky $9.54 service fee until I reviewed my receipt at home.
First time at this location. I've visited the 18th street location few times in the past and took the opportunity to check this one out.
Unfortunately, I was really disappointed. I ordered the lemon blueberry French toast, from the specials of the day list. Honestly, it felt like the specials (which you cannot make any changes to) are just sitting on the side waiting to be plated.
As you can see from the picture I only made it half way through my meal, and I was hungry! I didn't grab a before picture but the while plate looked very nice. However, all of the food was room temperature? I mean our table was right next to the kitchen.technically all the tables were right next to the kitchen.
The staff was really nice and the decor of the location was very pleasing. Based on visits at the 18th street location, I had really high expectations but sadly they weren't met.
The food was amazing. Our server was good. The wait for the food was long, after the 1st bite.all was forgotten. Definitely recommend going and trying a smoothie.
My first time there with my lady was a wonderful experience there food was amazing. However I didn't like the fact that the restaurant was to crowded.
Super decadent! Creative but incredibly rich variations of breakfast classics like creme brulee French toast and red velvet pancakes. Great for a splurge with friends, but not an everyday breakfast joint
Good food and service. Waiter was a little busy, but the other waiters checked on us periodically. Great team work balance. Food was cooked and prepared great. Super sweet French toast. Begals were toasted well, cream cheese was straight out the fridge, little hard. Over all great experience.
Really good food, excellent service, but packed. Two floors of dining space and the food comes out hit and tasty. Will visit again.
LOTS of food! I had pork sausage (mediocre) scrambled egg (just ok) and avocado (delicious). Caffe Gambon was excellent. Eggs Benedict was overcooked. Service very friendly and attentive.
Good place for breakfast and coffee. However it’s not an everyday place as it can be slightly expensive. The food is fresh and me delicious and coffee was good too. Parking in the area is tricky.you might have to walk couple of blocks to reach. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
I been here a few times and the empanadas were so delicious. The service is always great and you’re able to get a seat immediately. I think the chicken and waffles use to be different before pandemic I don’t remember chicken tenders but yea it’s a good spot for brunch.
We have been pretty disappointed with Green Eggs Cafe in the last year. We are locals and come here for a weekday breakfast occasionally to avoid the crazy weekend crowds. The last 2 times we have come, there have been issues with food quality. My eggs Benedict was pretty bland, the potatoes looked and tasted like they had been sitting, my partners chicken and waffles also lacked flavor and was soggy. The food is overpriced considering the quality $40 for 2 coffees and 2 benedicts. We won't be coming back anymore after this.
