Green Lane Reservoir reviews
21It was a nice afternoon, alot of families having picnics. It's was quiet and peaceful by the water. Got to spend some quality time with my family on the 4th of July. You can't go wrong being outside in the sunshine doing a little fishing. Priceless.
Green Lane Reservoir park is a great place for picnics, fishing, hiking, kayaking or just sitting and reading, to enjoy nature and peaceful surroundings. The park is clean and offers something for all ages. This is part of the Green Lane Park system so there are many areas to enjoy these activities. Bring your dog and even your horse. There are many horse trails throughout the park system. You can pick up a map showing the trails at several different locations within the park. Enjoy your visit.
I love coming here! It is a beautiful slice of natural land and i always have a fun time when visiting. There are a wide range of activities for everyone to do here, whether you are a child, an adult, a family, an individual, or anything in between. The reserve is spacious enough that you will discover a new area to explore or a new activity to try each time you visit. The water-based attractions include boating, kayaking, fishing, and paddling; all of which are fairly priced with well-maintained equipment for rent. The trails weave thru the expanse of land and cover a large area around the lake. There are areas to picnic and areas to host parties. 10/10 recommend this place
Beautiful safe clean park for boating, fishing & relaxing perfect way to de-stress your life!
New pavilion with benches & grills perfect for family fun.
Always a fun ride! Bit off a bit more than we expected with looping the reservoir but survived to tell and had dinner great pics and fun with the boys.
Great trails to hike here. My personal favorite is the Blue Trail. Offers studding views of the reservoir from the South side.
Great fishing and hiking and well as mountain biking and boating. Very scenic! Highly recommend
I enjoy hiking on these trails. They're mostly natural trails which means there are plenty of rocks, roots and ravines to add to the variety. A few trails in the park are paved if that's what you prefer.
One of my favorite parks. Go on the red trail through the woods and there are stone chairs. Very nice and relaxing.
Always Catch Big fish while I'm there fishing (LEGALLY) but I really wish the Pennsylvania fish and game commission would do the job they get paid well to do and check the Vietnamese, NO I AM NOT A RACIST but #1 they have no license, #2 they keep ANY and all fish, no matter how big or small, that's not fair to the ones that are licensed to fish and fish by the rules!
Beautiful trails to hike. Boating allowed but limited to a few input ramps. 10 day quarantine on all boats before they can be used. Lots of large blue herons and other wildlife to observe.
Nice peaceful park. Many hiking, biking snd horse trails. We live really close by and dock our boats for the summer so we come here alot.
Great view, pretty area to walk around in. The water is disgusting and it's illegal to swim here however, and boats must be quarantined by the staff after and before entering the water. Rentals aren't cheap either.
I love Green Lane Reservoir and park. I've been visiting for over 15 years now and always enjoy my time on the hiking trails.
Love the trails and views of the reservoir, fishing is good too! A good local place to go camping!
Great place for families, boat and paddle board rentals. Has grills and picnic tables around the entire park, just need to bring charcoal and some aluminum foil.
Great hiking and mountain biking! Down fall is not being able to take your own boats boats on the water without having to quarantine them after.
Great place to go for walks, bike rides, pictures, boating, etc. A huge park around the resivour.
MAKE SURE YOUR RESERVASIONS ARE WRITTEN DOWN, THEY LOST MINE, THEY PROMISED ME A 2 PERSON DISCOUNT BECAUSE OF THE CONFUSION, THEY FORGOT ABOUT THAT, THE BOAT RIDE WAS OK, BUT, JOE AND SAM NEED TO GET THERE STUFF TOGETHER, THEY DONT REMEMBER ANYTHING TALKED ON THE PHONE!
Blue trail has some excellent mountain biking with technical stream crossings. Red trail to blue to the connector makes a very nice loop of approximately 12 miles
