Do not use Green Lawn Fertilizing. First of all, they charge over $300 to aerate and seed. Second of all, their business model is based on people signing up and then forgetting to cancel. I tried to cancel the service this year. I emailed the technician to cancel service who said he would put in a note to his manager. Although he did recommend to call the office too I did not do that part. I trusted people at a company to communicate effectively and take my cancellation request seriously.admittedly, I did not answer the automated call the day before they said they were coming out. The point is, they will keep coming out and charging you unless you make the time to call them. When I brought my case to customer service there was no sympathy.they would not remove the charge nor did they offer a comprise. Do not recommend. This is a big business not focused on customer service. Go with someone else when you aerate and seed.

Mediocre lawn treatment. Obnoxiously aggressive sales tactics, sales reps are happy to take your money then disappear. Laughably poor customer service. Make it very difficult to cancel service. Be prepared to initiate a chargeback with your credit card. Or just pick a different service at random from the phone book, they can't all be this bad, right?

Green Lawn aerated my front lawn without my knowledge or permission and continues to bill me for it. I've explained numerous times I use another service and they continue to call and harass me to pay for something I did not want or need. I've had to file a complaint with the BBB to resolve this. Beware of this company!

Be careful dealing with this company. They called me saying they would be in my area doing lime treatment and wanted to know if I was interested. I agreed to a treatment for $53. When I logged onto their website to pay the $53 bill I discovered to my surprise they put me on their lime treatment program for the entire next year (2024) for $360! This was never discussed, authorized, or disclosed to me during my phone call with them. This is the second time they signed me up for a service without telling me or getting my authorization. It is a reprehensible business practice.

I was extremely positive about starting this service earlier this year. They made me several promises as far as lawn, tree & shrub control, and aeration and seeding. Everything is supposedly guaranteed. I have paid a lot of money and have called several times for problems with both tree and shrub and seeding. They promised me each time that someone would get back to me immediately and it never happens. This has to be some kind of a joke. I have never had such poor customer service.
I have several neighbors who had been thinking about switching to them. Not anymore.

Since my review, I have been contacted by several members of the management team at Green Lawn. They have promised to rectify all of the issues that we are having by the spring. I will continue to update as to the progress at that time.

Hire green lawn if you want to break your property.

As others mentioned they barely return calls to fix the issue. But if you hold a bill they will call twice a day and even report to credit agencies

You decide if you want to “learn from experienced” and don’t hire them or hire them and “ then learn from your own bad experience”

I wish there was a “0” star option

Green Lawn has not provided the services I paid for; they don't respond to messages; my lawn still has many weeds. Waste of money.

These guys used to be great and they used to do a great job for us. I am not sure if they've become very understaffed or if someone else has happened, but their service has completely dropped off the map.

No communication, missed service dates, multiple multi-month spans in the year where they just don't show up.

They lawn is doing ok.it's been better.and that is a direct result of their declining service. I'll be cancelling my 2024 renewal and looking for another company.

Green lawn came out in April and we agreed to a prepayment plan which never happened and they billed us what they wanted, not what we discussed or what was on the contract that was a complete mess and u can barely read.

Spoke to a manager right away, I won’t call anyone out, but he advised shortly after he corrected the issue online, but actually he didn’t change anything.

We agreed to 40 per month for 5 months, for mosquito treatment (that was documented) and we were going to pre pay, which didn’t end up happening, billing us 63 per month. Then we agreed to (verbally unfortunately was not documented) but manager assured he corrected, the lawn service at 45 per month for 8 treatments.

Basically I moved out of my home, tried resolving this through the one manager who initially helped me! But now all the sudden he can’t make any changes to account I need to speak to the financial manager.collections reps harassing me telling me a manager isn’t available to speak to and they will call me in 48 hours, NEVER happened. I live in a newly wealthy neighborhood, and I will assure every neighbor not use green lawn!

If there is an option to provide no star, I would do that. This seems like a kind of scam, especially in creating weeds during the cycle & getting more money from the customer to destroy the weeds. Following that aeration & seeding, they promise you whatever possible & bring your yard back to the shape & get the money prepaid. In the end, nothing works & the guy who was in connect with you won't reply and very bad customer service & doesn't bother to acknowledge your email. I would suggest staying away from this and not getting into a trap like me.

I was very happy with my lawn starting spring but it became worse after allowing this team.

Update: Following this review, I was contacted by the company & took corrective action. I have to wait for some more time to provide the actual results. Thanks for the understanding.

Green Lawn did half of the services I requested and it's a good thing because they destroyed my front lawn with their aeration machine, costing me hundreds of dollars reseeding it. I put in a dispute with my credit card company and now they are bot calling me for collection. I filed a complaint with the BBB. Accept the dispute, leave me alone, and I will take down this review and rescind my BBB complaint. See picture of damage below.

Devyn was here today to put down the fertilizer on the lawn and was very informative as to this weed that I have on my property and decided it's green and not brown so we will let it go for now. Devyn needs a cup of hot chocolate and a donut. Anne

They used to be great. Service was awful this entire season capped off by them driving an aerator onto our property (we dont have that service with them) and broke the boundary wire for our automower. I let tgem know promptly and was told i would hear from that branch within 24 hours and they would fix it.

Five days later and I have heard nothing. They refuse to take accountability or rectify the situation. Upon further calls to them, they disconect immediately and will not even answer the phone for me to cancel services.

An attempt for credit card fraud was perpetrated by this organization. I was visited by one of their sales persons, A John Pitura after my initial inquiry, Discussed what services I wanted, agreed to a defined service program at a defined price in writing, and prepaid for the program to receive their discount. I made it very clear that I did not want any extended program. The property was being sold. Even after all that, someone decided to provide additional services that I did not ask for or even know about and charged my credit card without my knowledge for more than 2x what I agreed to and prepaid for. Calls to customer service, a Shawn Sonom, resolved nothing. A call to John Pitura, was not responded to. A request to speak with the owner, was not granted. Pathetic that this is how they treat customers and think they will get away with it? I am now taking action against them
to get the money back that they took from my account without my authorization and knowledge.
Update.after posting this review I was contacted by a person who identified herself as head of customer service, and she tried to negotiate a settlement. She also pointed out that the written quote was not a contract for services? I guess they use that as a tool to charge you more once they have your payment info. After multiple refusals of their partial refunds, they finally agreed to refund the charges for services not authorized and not yet given. I would recommend not paying by credit card if you choose this company.

I was with Green Lawn a few years ago and stopped them for numerous reasons. I called this week in hopes that they have improved their service and start treating my lawn again. I’ve placed numerous calls over the past few days only to get an operator telling me that the office is no longer staffed and someone will be getting back to me soon. Three days later I call again and got an answering machine.
If this is the customer service I can expect, no thank you. Not what it used to be.

Hired Green Lawn this year for fertilizing and weed control. I used to treat it myself but because of a lack of free time this past season I decide to give this company a shot. My lawn has never looked so bad and the weeds thrived all summer
. I've called numerous times to report issues and every time was told " we'll get the weeds taken care of for you" and the treatments never worked. Had a mid season assessment done by a gentelman from the company. He never got out of his car but somehow came up with an "assessment" of my property and extra services that needed to sign up for. I was set up for aeration and seeding but canceled because at this point I don't trust the services. The only reason it's 2 stars and not 1 is because the mosquito treatments seemed to help out.

Longtime and very satisfied customer. Had a miscommunication with the door to door sales person on a service. Green Lawn Fertilizer customer service took care of the dispute to my satisfaction. My trust in Green Lawn Fertilizer was restored,
