Green's Family Restaurant, Lavelle PA

We enjoy visting PA and when we do we always have a family dinner here! What a great place to visit. Food is delicious and your staff is outstanding! The kindness is fantastic!

Food was horrible. Had the sautéed shrimp and scallop with linguine ordered to go, when I open the lid it was filled with literally on the same level as the food itself. Had to pour out an ungodly amount of oil just to take a bite and it was so bland and oily still wasted my money for sure.

Old school family style restaurant. Portions are big and prices are good. Small salad bar that comes with some specials and can be added to other meals. Large selection of homemade desserts. Small dining rooms and hours are short so check for availability. Worth the stop.

Visited for a luncheon after my aunt's funeral. We had a pre-planned meal. Good comfort food. The staff was very friendly and on top of things even with our large group.

I am a truck driver. I parked across the street at Sunoco and I ate there for the first time within the last three weeks. I had the haddock and it was awesome. The whole meal was awesome. The staff are extremely friendly. My coworker and I have told a lot of other drivers. I came in tonight and I ordered the prime rib. Unfortunately, I don’t eat cooked meat. I love it, rare, and I do mean rare that it talks back to me. I couldn’t get the prime rib rare it was pink. So instead, I ordered the mushroom, Swiss burger, rare, and it to was cooked. Maybe the majority of the clientele like their meat cooked but I don’t. I was raised eating meat, rare. The waitress was awesome putting up with me. She was still very kind and sweet. I actually felt bad for her. It wasn’t her fault. She’s not the cook. But she tried everything to please me to no avail. Would I still recommend that place? Absolutely! Well, I got my iced tea and I grabbed one of those desserts out of the refrigerator. So that will be my dinner; dessert for dinner.

Stopped here based off the reviews. Order tenderloin tips cooked medium, mashed potatoes and green beans…what I got was a well done, thin cut steak chopped into little bite sized pieces and bland instant mashed potatoes. If you’re on a low sodium, bland diet this is the place for you. Waitress was great, attentive and quick.

We were visiting from out of town and looking for an uncomplicated food location and Green's didn't disappoint! It was great for the whole family, with a salad bar to boot. The wife got the steak and it was a very generous portion. And let's not forget the prices! I don't think this place got the memo about inflation because I fed a family of 5 for $45 with drinks. Extremely reasonable pricing. Thanks.

THE BEST PRIME RIB I'VE EVER EATEN!
Service was excellent, and the food was incredible! I can't wait to get back to enjoy more of their menu choices!

Pleasantly surprised! We have lived in the area for years and never checked out the place. My grandparents suggested we give it a try and we weren't disappointed. The food was very good. We had the prime rib sandwich and fries. I highly recommend! The service was great and the atmosphere was very cozy. We were super full after we ate but luckily they had a cute dessert case filled with goodies to take home. We'll definitely be back in the future.

Family restaurant offering homemade style American foods. My group was the only customers in the restaurant that were under 60 and they definitely seem to cater towards the older crowd.
The shrimp and burgers were great. The steak was ok but nothing special.

Their cheessteak has so little meat that it's practically vegetarian. Save your money & order elsewhere. It's a total rip off.

Could be a little bigger of a place and still have the family feel to it. Waitress forgot my sons spaghetti, but I was understanding because she was taking care of our huge family party of 10 adults and 4 kids ranging in age from 1.5- 6 years old

Homemade food was so good, it'll make you slap your momma and the size of the dish was BIG. Our server was helpful with our questions and gave some tips for something I ain't never tried. This is definitely like a "everyone knows each other" but we didn't feel uncomfortable haha but this place should really be on a list of stops for travelers. *Prices were good too.

I arrived at 740 pm. Google said they closed at 8. But I decided to try anyway. I was treated extremely well. Not a complaint from anyone. In fact, they were very pleasant and professional. The food was great. It was obvious that the food was cooked and not just reheated. Great portions and reasonable prices. Will definitely go again and send many hungry drivers that way

Normally I love this place. Seems to being going downhill though. Today I ordered a California Cheeseburger for takeout. I got there early to pick it up. What I got was a cold burger smothered with ketchup. Pretty gross. It did have lettuce, tomato, & onion on it anyway

Normally stop here to eat when we hit the trails at aoaa.however this time while we waiting for them to open a blonde haired lady approached us and said" you can't park here" in a karen type of voice.we informed her we were planning on eating there. Her tone changed and she stated we could park somewhere else on the far side because no one would be able to park.this hasn't been a problem in the past. Had she had asked politely or rephrase her words it would have been taken much differently. Perception is reality and she was perceived as not getting my money.
