I dropped off a leather jacket to have the zipper replaced back in July I was told they would call me when it was finished. So I called in last week to see if it was done since I hadn’t heard anything in 4 months. It wasn’t done! The lady asked “when would you like it done” I replied how about 4 months ago. She then asked when I needed it by after that I just told her I’ll come pick up my unfinished garment and take it elsewhere.

Hard to find a reputable shoe repair shop these days. We traveled from Franklin to drop off and pick up (about 4 days later) … about a hour ride on our Harley. It’s really nice to be able to discuss the repairs with the people that actually do the repairs, compared to the shops that send the shoes out to some unknown shoe repair facility. The shoes were repaired very well and in a timely fashion. In addition to repairs, the Shoe Hospital has a relatively small selection of boots, shoes, slippers, etc.for sale at very reasonable prices… if you’re lucky enough to find a style you like in a size that fits (their inventory is limited). I’m sure the next time we need boots or shoes repaired, we’ll be making the trip again… it’s worth the time & gas.

I have visited this place several times over the years, and through different owners. I have taken various things to be repaired there - purses, shoes, a carrier for my Bible.
My last visit I had a keepsake leather change purse that needed a few stitches. As I waited an employee pointed out several clearance sections. While browsing I found a pair of Minnetonka sandals with denim straps and silver accents that I LOVED! They were not on sale but fit, and suited me. And my small repair was a tiny price. Left with a big smile on my face!

I recently moved to Greenville, and was excited to find a shoe repair store. I dropped a pair of boots off to get resoled in August, they finally got done just before Thanksgiving. I when picking them up I dropped off a pair of dress shoes for the same reason. I stopped in before Christmas to check status, and was told they were not done yet because they had several rush jobs before Christmas, I asked how do I get a job rushed and did not get an answer. Finally, I went in on February 27th, and they still were not done, I picked them up unfinished to take elsewhere.

My favorite boots started to fall apart. I took them here. They fixed them unbelievably fast and for a very reasonable price. I will certainly be bringing all of my shoe repairs here

Zipper replacement took months despite my 3-4 calls. Finally I was contacted to ask if it was OK to use a zipper that was the wrong color. By then I just needed to get the purse back, so my Coach bag now has a mismatched zipper. Nice people, but no sense of urgency.

I've been here three different times, for shoes and boots to be repaired. They're very friendly and did a great job on each pair. It's definitely worth the drive.
