Greyhound: Bus Station reviews
16My mother has been trying to travel to come see me since SATURDAY! The bus routes keeps getting delayed or canceled due to bus drivers quitting. Many people have been there for days, waiting for a bus that can actually leave the station or have room. Customer service REFUSES to allow us to change our ticket for free, claiming that they 'already resolved the issue. ' I am beyond frustrated with Greyhound and will be definitely looking at ANY OTHER option for travel in the future because this is just unacceptable.
Not much information available, no one at service desk to help out the travelers. Apart from the place is clean, and has a good waiting lounge
Disgusting! Filthy! No Employees ANYWHERE! No toilet tissue. No Communication from the one Employee that eventually did show up. 6 Bus loads of people and NONE of the drivers showed up. We left after our 30 minute driver swap turned into 6+hour waiting game. Couldn't leave Negative Star Review.
Dang Pittsburgh! Our Greyhound station is the pits! No one at the ticket counter for the last five hours, and no one in the restaurant/gift shop. Saw the police here 5 times in 2 hours.
By far, Baltimore MD has the most sophisticated Greyhound station I have ever seen! Baltimore now beats Pittsburgh for best station!
Unsightly due to people handing around the front door.it's dirty and pick for taxis is limited due to pple parking in front and not moving along
I was hoping for a better experience. Just got reminded why public transportation is not utilized and done properly.
Needs a better loading area or pullover place to drop passengers off for the bus. I haven't gone inside. Just dropping off passengers.
Many homeless people around, the bus time is always changing, they are always late

The food court employee was very nice, accommodating, and helpful. That’s the only good thing I can say. The terminal reeks of piss, while many people requested the staff restock the toilet paper in the bathroom, but that never happened. Our bus was delayed for 2 hours, then cancelled. All while no one could find an actual staff members until 7 hours later. The staff member was incredibly rude and argumentative with people that had no idea what was going on for the last 7 hours. I will never ride greyhound again, and I definitely won’t be coming back to this terminal. Awful experience, book elsewhere
Do not travel by Greyhound. Terrible customer service. Drivers frequently quit driving and leave people stranded in Pittsburgh for days at a time.
Don't have much to say about the Greyhound bus station in Pittsburgh they be losing people's stuff
My mother arrived to the station from another state for an 11: 20 am bus. Her bus ride was initially booked for a 29 hour trip. It was cancelled due to not having a driver. They rescheduled her bus for another one, at 11: 20 PM. The newly scheduled ride was 63 hours long! She sat at the station for 12 hours, only to have her second bus cancelled as well! It is now 1: 43 in the morning and she’s been there for almost 14 hours. There is no one there to help her reschedule. The app isn’t giving her an option to reschedule because the bus isn’t showing canceled yet. Upon searching the website, I found a bus traveling to her destination with a 29 hour trip that claims to have one seat left. However, I am unable to book it through the app and so is she. This is unacceptable. Greyhound takes people’s money, leaves them stranded in states far from home. Customer service is unavailable. The line rings and a voicemail says no one is available. It’s unethical. I intend to contact the better business bureau if someone does not help my mother (and the 15 other stranded passengers) by morning.
Horrible! You all reminded me why I haven’t thought about greyhound since I was a kid! Rude counter people rude driver rude customer service! Dirty bus! DO BETTER!
Got stuck at station ticket cancelled tried rescheduling it but I would have to back track to where I started and do it all over again if not wait at Pittsburg station until 7pm tomorrow usually I don't have problems with greyhound but dam I ain't using the guys anytime soon. Pittsburgh staff in customer service tired asking the guy working in there some questions about my ticket he just clearly didn't give a dam kept on his phone other people tried to talk to him as well cause a lot of people's tickets were cancelled as well these guys need better staffing
I don't know, I recommend them, they are very irresponsible, the buses never leave on time.
First time taking a greyhound back home from a trip to Pittsburgh. I will probably not take one again. Terrible experience, had a good trip down from Charlottesville Virginia up to Washington DC on the flix bus because they had a nice clean updated bus with working plugs so people could charge their phones and then we got delayed in Washington DC for two hours because something happened and there was paramedics and we didn’t leave DC until after 6pm then got on the greyhound bus back to Pittsburgh from Washington DC and it was filthy, disgusting and outdated and the outlets on the bus didn’t work at all so everyone that was on the bus back had no battery life left on their phones because the outlets didn’t work and there was a guy arguing with his wife or someone for most the bus ride so it was hard to sleep on the bus and no one could listen to their own music because their phones died. Was supposed to get home around 12: 30am and didn’t get at the station until 2am in the morning and everyone was grouchy and irritated. Thankfully there was a charging station at the station otherwise there would have been no way to get home with a dead phone. After going through the all the craziness with the greyhound bus, I probably will take a train or a plane their cleaner and probably smell better then the buses. Greyhound needs to updated their disgusting old buses to newer buses because no one will want to take these anymore.
