Grundy Ice Arena reviews
16The cement bleachers make this a colder than normal rink. No where to stay warm and watch a game.
Great Ice Rink. People are Great, facilities not a mess, stands are not a mess, vending machines available. Only comment on the negative side but not too much though, is that, the front doors lock after a patron leaves thru the front doors n they close. Noone who works there is visible anywhere that I could see (I was a bout 15 mins late to my son's semi-pro adult ice hockey game n did not get in till the game was over! Nonetheless, 2 of my 3 boys played hockey there for the last 12 yrs including 2020 n I've always liked Grundy.
Good sized rink, good food, not too busy.just didn't clean the ice during the whole Public skate
Only visited the pro shop. Didn't like the fact that the pro shop has different hours than the rink.
I'm easily one of the greatest hockey players of all time. I attribute this to my time spent practicing at Grundy during my childhood. And now I'm like the 10th best player. At public hockey. On Mondays. If 10 people show up
Great adult classes! Walk ins were welcome and there is a lot of time to practice and teachers come back and give pointers. The facility is well kept and is reasonably priced.
Find somewhere else for your kids to skate. My son was injured at a party and wound up in the ER because of their very poor party procedures (4-5 year olds). They refuse to acknowledge or change anything. I fear for the next injury that is sure to occur and want to spread the word any way I can.
Beautiful rink, can't wait to skate on it. Though they need some kind of air freshener, some of the rinks smell pretty bad
It is home.has always been home. Got my teeth knocked out & got 18 stitches in my head. Learning ice hockey. Driving zamboni is fun.
What could be a great venue struggles due to lack of maintenance. Bathrooms filthy and looks like they haven't been cleaned in weeks. Shame as the area seems to be on a comeback.
County run facility, not perfect but it's the best rink in town. Multiple women's programs and skill clinics for adults and kids. I only ever get my skates sharpened here!
Place needs a makeover and lots of repairs but still is one of the best values around Philadelphia
My home rink, even though I live closer to the trifecta of suck (Wintersport/BCI/Warwick) I still travel to this rink because it's an enjoyable experience
I always think of this rink as a concrete prison. It's dark and chilly. However, it is relevatively well kept and the snack bar is ok.
COLD! The facility is nice, but frigid! I did not try the food or coffee. (actual rating would be 3 1/2 stars)
Easy to find off the turnpike, good food options, clean, and the rinks are always in good shape.
