This guy knows what he is doing. I have a bunch of machines. He had tuned and fixed everything from a 130 year old treadle to my
Computerized embroidery machine.

The owner fixed my vacuum in a flash even though he didn't have the exact size belt he needed to fix it. He only charged me $10 when I was ready to have to get a brand new one. He was kind and respectful and great at his job/ business.

They repaired my vacuum in less than 10 minutes while I waited. I didn't expect such fast service. I'm so glad I took my vacuum here rather than buy a new one. Definitely worth it to keep my vacuum out of a landfill, save money on a repair rather than buy new, and support a local business all in one stop!

I brought this family heirloom, a Damascus Electric made in 1920, into Mr Matthie’s shop on Saturday, December 4,2021. Within two days, Mr. Matthie called me to say it was ready for pickup. He cleaned and rewired the sewing machine and repaired the motor. I’m so grateful repair people like him still exist! I highly recommend Mr Matthie!

Picked up a vacuum belt. He told us if the brush doesn’t spin don’t use it because the belt will break. The brush was spinning normally. I was excited to clean the floor and after 2 minutes the belt broke. So I called to explain it was a little smaller than the original and I will just bring the original belt in to match up and he freaks out and tells me he will just refund my money and hangs up on me. That’s not what I was calling about. I could have brought my vacuum in for an assessment and paid for that but instead he thinks I want $2.50

I received friendly, professional and quick service. My Shark vacuum had a broken hose between the body and the foot of the vacuum. I could not find the correct replacement part online. The replacement part I had did not fit properly. Mr. Mathie looked at it and said "Well, let's see. " The next thing I knew he had taken the new piece apart and fashioned it to fit the vacuum. Impressive workmanship, and very reasonable.

I called and left a message about my Dyson Ball Animal 2 beaters not working. I got a call back within 4 hours. Before H Matthie would let me bring it in, he had me check a few things, and sure enough, the problem was with me, not the vacuum cleaner. This was wonderful and not only saved me a trip, it made me respect him for not coming up with some way to get money from me. Thank you so much H Matthie Repairs!

He can fix basically anything. I bring him lots of sewing machines that my students trash and he gets them working.

He was quick it was in the shop for one week, the price was lower than I expected and he ran it in front of me to show me it was running great again.i would recommend this place all day long.

I must say that this is the best service I received from the owner of this business. Very friendly, professional, fast immediate service as I didn't have to wait very long. His prices are reasonable to fix your sewing machine and he fixes it immediately after checking the machine. Only if its a more complicated issue does he hold the machine in the shop. He is also very knowledgeable about what he does. I would definitely recommend anyone going here to fix your sewing machine problems and I will definitely be going back. I had a sewing machine that hadn't worked properly for years that I had stopped using altogether and I took it to this shop and he fixed my machine in 10 minutes. Im so happy now I can sew my masks. This guy does amazing work and is crazy friendly. I wont take my sewing machines anywhere else.
