Haar's Drive In reviews
12Just saw Hocus Pocus and the new Haunted Mansion. Always a fun experience sitting outdoors and watching the big screen! Enjoyed delicious chocolate milkshakes, French fries, and popcorn. They offered special treat bags for the first 50 who dressed in themed costumes. A great family friendly atmosphere.
While I love that they are here and we do visit a few times a year, it frustrated me to no end that there is never any upkeep done to improve the facilities or parking areas at all. I can't imagine Haars isn't pulling in enough money to at least paint full lines for parking spots. There is keeping quaint touches of the yesteryear and then there is cheaping out. Please make some improvements, anything to show you actually care about your patrons.
I love being able to go to a drive in theater. I remember going to them when I was a child. Always bring back wonderful memories.
I just moved back to Pennsylvania after 47yrs. Growing up just down the road from Haars I saw many movies there. I decided to see what it was like now and wasn't disappointed. Most everyone was respectful and quiet. Good sound as you now use your own radios and screen was clear. Very much enjoyed the whole drive-in experience and looking forward to next season. Thanks to the Haars for keeping this drive-in up and running.
A fond family favorite.going to Haar's a few times a summer for many years!
Bring a portable radio player so you dont kill your car battery.
Good food, too- make sure to bring extra cash for food!
This drive in has lots of parking space, and decent screen, good sound (via FM radio), and a very reasonably priced selection of concessions. There are some slides and a grassy area for kids to play in before the show and it's very relaxing to be able bring along your own snack and chairs if you want to watch from outside your vehicle.
Very fun! And cheap! Would definitely go out with friends and family! Only 10 dollars a person!
First time here. Came with a friend to watch Barbie & Legally Blonde. Good experience, got space with ease, funny movies. Only negative is need better lighting in restroom!
Always a family favorite of this family owned establishment & it's a childhood must. Drive-ins were ahead of their time in the past and a thing of the future!
My oldest was so enamored to spend her last day of being 14 at the drive-in, where she's had so many fond memories.she was in a car seat the first time I took her. I've longed to give my children traditions, and through the years, this has been one of them.
We will keep supporting this wonderful business. See ya there!
Keeping this at one star until they offer a jumper cable service. No one was willing to help us at the end of the double feature.
Love this place. The nostalgia of going to a Drive in brings me back to my childhood. Although the outside of the concessions stand needs quite a bit of maintenance and seems a bit run down. The rest of the place is ok. Too bad they don't still have the speakers to hang on your car. Food prices are ok too. Will be going back for sure.
I try to come here at least once a season. Cash only and don’t forget your portable radio to hear the film’s audio! Plenty of standard fare options at the snack bar.
