Hair Buzz, Philadelphia PA

Went there to look at selection and prices for hair bundles and lace closures and the heavy set medium brown skin female who was working the hair section, although helpful at first, when I asked about 12 inch closures for the Black Mink brand to see exactly what they had in stock, she just pointed to where they were and walked away like she didn't wanna be bothered and after that she complained to her coworker that I've been there for a long time taking pictures of prices and purposely did so within my ear shot. You are rude, loud and ignorant and you make black people look bad. Next time you talk about a customer, be discreet about it.

While they do have alot of products and it is very clean the customer service is very lacking. To start all 3 employees were talking while I was standing in line which is fine however I am standing in line and the lady motions with me with her hand for me to come to her register. She never stated a price to me as she was talking to her colleagues so I looked at the register to see my total. After I paid I said thank you and she said "uh huh" and continued to have her conversation. If this isnt completely rude i dont know what is. I will not spend another dime here.

The one star is not for the products, that's amazing and in stock. However, the ladies supposedly working from the floor to the counter, that's sad and unfortunate for business. I would like to thank that one Asian guy. WOW! I hope your practical style spreads just a little bit amongst the ladies. I can't see this store lasting.

This place always closes early. If you get there after 8, the door is locked and they won't let you in. It should show that they close at 8pm. This has happened on many occasions.

One and done and never again! I came to this store with my two daughters to grab our hair essentials. We normally frequent a different hair store but because my stylist stated she needed to use specific hair and it was only sold at this store is why we went. From the moment we stepped foot in the door it seemed as if we were being followed around the store. My 10 year old daughter kept noticing that the workers would act as if they were working but low key watching us. I’m not sure what they thought I could fit into my little backpack or under my shirt without being noticed but it was very noticeable what they were doing. I tried to ignore it as this is the only Hair Buzz in my area and I needed the braiding hair. We then got to the register where the cashier didn’t even speak to me after I greeted her twice. At that point I was over it, so I began to talk to my children and letting them know this will be the first and last time we ever come to this store again. I guess the cashier heard me and began mumbling under her breath while on a FaceTime call while serving customers. I’m so mad at myself for not leaving the $100 dollars worth of hair products and taking the drive to a different location but that’s ok because it’ll NEVER happen again.

I don’t usually write reviews but this was the absolute worst experience I had and hope the customer service will improve. It was a bad experience for my child to witness and see an adult be as rude as the girl at the door was for no reason. I went to the store at 8: 00 pm. The store didn’t close until 8: 30p according to their posted hours. From the time my young daughter & I walked in that store, we were treated rudely by the girl at the door. She was mean, evil, disrespectful for no reason. Loudly complaining that she doesn’t greet, smile or laugh etc.after 8. We walked in happy, nice, knowing exactly what we needed so we weren’t going to be long & ready to spend our money, which we could have gone anywhere else & I wish we did. Nobody deserves to be treated nasty as they enter a business and about to support your business. You should not have rude, nasty people at the door. If you don’t want customers at 8 then don’t post closing time at 8: 30. There is no need to be rude, nasty and right down mean especially to people who are not rude & nasty & walk in with a smile. If it was just me, I would brush it off but I am writing because my child had to experience it & she was so excited to go & get her products for the hairstyle she has been waiting to get. She left that store sad and sorry she asked me to take her. Unacceptable!

Oof, glad I called before I spent my money here I saw some cute hair on their website thats delivered by Uber eats. I wanted to know if the hair came in multiple bundles because the price seems high for only one. Rude heifer just hung up in my face when I was trying to ask the question. I called back and she picked up and hung up again when I said hello. Thank you girl for saving me the trouble.

I never had any major issues here, been going since before they moved. Maybe once I couldn't find anyone to help me find an item, but overall, they're good. I even send my husband here for his products.

This place doesn’t adhere to standard Business Practice as I’m posting this it is 5: 57pm and they are advertised and have posted business hours ending at 6: 00pm not 15min before. I was denied access into this business because it was stated to be closed before 6: 00pm when clearly it is posted that they close later! Unethical. I will be reporting to BB.
