Hair Cuttery, Springfield PA

Andre is so patient and explained everything from start to finish, which really eased my anxiety. I've had long hair for years now and he really put me at ease for a major change that needed to happen. I'll absolutely be back to see him.

So I have a thyroid disorder and my hair is difficult to grow. I have been taking care of it with vitamins, diet, and dustings every two months. All I needed was a dusting; following the shape of my hair style, nothing crazy, but instead, Tonya decided to take a quarter inch off the length and her idea for angels was to cut four inches off of the front of my hair "angles" I cried when I went home! This was by far the WORST HAIR CUT I ever had! I have a significant gap in between the angles & the length of my hair. Nothing connects! It looks like I have two different hair cuts and it also looks stringy and has no shape at all. Its short in the front and long in the back.
When I called to speak with TONYA she was rude, insensitive, and basically said she didn't cut that much off. Then at the same time, said well " thats 's what happens when you don't take anything off of the length. " I told her to take off a very litter bit around the angles but she BUTCHERED my hair! Clearly she doesn't really know how to cut hair. If my length is the middle of my back and my sides (first angle is by chin) and the cut looks like two different cuts and does not blend at all, TONYA the chubby indian looking girl, does not know how to cut hair.
DO NOT GO THERE. Several of my friends told me, " that's what happens when you go to that hair cuttery" Apparently, their notorious for cutting hair the way they see fit and not the way the paying customer wants his/her hair cut.

When I went back there to discuss / show this tragedy with the manager, she was shocked and couldn't follow the cut or understand why TONYA decided to do that to my hair. Kim the manager was extremely nice. I still think the cut was intentional because I didn't want too much off the length. Everyone's hair falls differently and certain styles are not for certain hair types.
All TONYA had to do was own it, but instead she was nasty and condescending.

I would not recommend this place to anyone.

They close at 9. I arrive at 8. “It’s too late for a cut sir”. Just wanted the company to know that employees are denying service an hour early…. Sheesh. My hairs a mess.

Great for a quick walkin cut if you're not too picky about styling. As such it can be a gamble for your basic cut and wash starting at 26$ but usually acceptable at least. Call ahead or online appointments are recommended.
