6Very clean, Hampton always has the best pillows and beds. Breakfast was good! The room was very fresh and ice cold AC was already blasting in the room after a really long day, great to walk into. The staff was SO friendly. Nice neighborhood. Right next to Walmart super center 45 min to Pittsburgh
Overnight stop on weekend road trip.
Pros: Friendly Staff, Newly refurbished rooms, Good location with Walmart and EatNPark within walking distance, quiet.
Cons: We got to breakfast late at 9: 15 (ends at 10: 00) many items picked over or out, some aspects of hotel are still old and worn but probably still undergoing renovation/replacement.
Over a month ago my family and I had booked a night here and while en route I went into preterm labor and had to find a hospital emergently. My husband was able to call and cancel our reservation, speaking to a man who confirmed that we would not be charged. We were indeed charged despite this and the subsequent response to us has been non-existent. Over a month later we have had no return call, despite being told weeks ago that we'd get a call "by the end of the week" with a decision. I had a true emergency, a stillborn baby, even called to cancel, and this hotel won't give us our money back. Apparently they want to investigate because there is no record of the call. What is there to investigate? A customer's baby DIES and management can't even have the compassion to make this *that* much easier for us and just refund the charge. Words escape me other than this business can keep the $100 if it's that important to them, which apparently, it is!
We didn’t stay but we stopped by to use Lobby restroom. They are currently undergoing construction to fix some plumbing issues. Leah was so kind to let myself and kids use the one usable lobby restroom. We appreciated it!
When checking-in front desk clerk Greg had a great demeanor and had excellent customer service skills, he made our stay very welcomed! Thanks again!
