Hampton Inn Downingtown/Exton

Would be zero stars if possible. Receptionists are rude and will not take a message for someone staying in the hotel, and hang up on callers.

Hampton Inn is always my choice to stay! Clean. Nice staff in every area. The breakfasts are just what you need. Love Hampton Inn

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were great, and the breakfast was good. I highly recommend this hotel.

There was a miserable front desk person named Lorene that made our stay so bad that we switched hotels. One evening, we asked her for some paper plates and she was so lazy that she lied and said the hotel didn’t have any just so she didn’t have to get out of her chair. When I volunteered to get them myself she said we weren’t allowed to have any and we could use the paper cups that were already out. Yes, put our pizza into plastic coffer cups? It was bizarre. She was overtly miserable and probably the most indolent staffer I have ever met. When we checked out, I asked her for a paper copy of the receipt. She lied again and said the printer didn’t work and it would take an hour to print the receipt. I said I’d wait and 30 seconds later the receipt printed. Go figure. I am sure other guests have complained about her. She’s insufferable.

A nice, clean room. Great shower. Refrigerator and microwave, coffee in room. Comfy bed. Nice hotel at a great price for a Saturday night. Only downside was intermittent sirens from nearby fire station. I still found this hotel to be one of the quietest.

I was woken up at 5 am by crickets in a vent/wall that was covered up by a measly piece of plastic. It was extremely loud and irritating. I had to leave for work by 6 am anyways so I just stayed awake and left. There was also was human and dog hair in the one bed, so I slept in the other.

Great little place to stay for work. Good location and fair price. Service is very friendly!

Super Friendly service. Free parking. Continental breakfast was pretty good. Outdoor swimming pool was small yet nice. Beds not so comfy. Blackout curtains worked great. Toilet would not flush. Couldn't watch tv. Tv was not working properly.

Nice people, but the bed wasn’t comfortable at all this time that me and my husband stayed. Very disappointing.

Did not like anything about our stay. Bed felt as hard as a rock. The room felt like a funeral home, extremely outdated. To my joy, a cemetery view right outside the window. I was so unhappy. The bathroom seems to be the only vicinity up to date. I won’t be back.

Clean, relaxing and easy. Lots to offer. Had a little hiccup with my reservation but staff was patient and helped me find a solution! Well done.

Horrible checked in on the 10 th of July at night receptionists was rude charged me twice still havnt received my money back air in room didn't put out room smelled awful Called back today no one knew nothing so be careful staying there

I originally gave this place a decent review, until they robbed me! This establishment doesn’t send correct confirmation emails! The manager alleges that multiple reservations were made. Regardless, if I do not receive a confirmation how am I suppose to know of a multiple reservation? I was told to be more careful while booking! This isn’t the first time a have made a reservation, but this is the first time I got robbed! I believe this place does this thing more than coincidentally and will never stay here again I did not go through a third party but called the hotel and reserved! Look elsewhere! I will stay at the Marriot right in front next time!

Ask for quiet room. Air conditioner sounded like a jet taking off and there was a humming noise all evening. Small double queen size room. Toilet so low felt like sitting on floor. Only sheet and heavy comforter on bed, but 4 pillows? Breakfast okay.

Rooms are very small. All the furniture touches cause there's no space. Old styled decor. Clean and well maintained property. Staff are very nice. Breakfast was cheap. No name brand products. One roast coffee no real creamer only packets. Tub was a high step. Large fridge not a cooler. Right next to a fire company so you hear sirens all night and day. Beds are hard no soft topper and not true kings.

We had a late check-in and the staff was very kind and helpful. Our kids loved the outdoor pool. It was clean and perfect for the summer.

This hotel is pet friendly, very clean beds very comfy and a nice hot continental breakfast which was delicious and they also have a saltwater pool it was very nice and clean. We very much enjoyed our stay

Room was clean and comfortable, not sure that the “queen size” bed was truly queen size, but comfortable nonetheless. A/C was a little wonky in the room so maybe put it colder than usual if you run warm (this might just be user error, I was exhausted while fidgeting with it). Bathroom was also clean and bright. Breakfast was simple and standard but very good. Currently (as of 7/14/22) need a “reservation” to use the pool, but hardly anyone was using it so I can’t imagine it’s difficult to get yourself a time slot if you wanted to. Overall a decent price and a fine place to get some rest!
