Hampton Inn Johnstown

Room is updated & nice & clean. Front desk clerk Clay was very polite & knowledgeable. Easy to find location on a hill. Hot breakfast from 6-10 a.m.

I have traveled the country for work and stay in Hilton Properties. This is one of the cleanest and nicest Hampton Inns in the country, it really is. Staff was very nice. Keep up the great work

My stay here was very pleasant. The entire staff was always courteous and accommodating. The room was clean. The breakfast had a wide variety for everyone.

We come to PA a couple times a year to spend the weekend with our granddaughter who is 10. We can stay anywhere but have stayed at the Hampton in Johnstown

Every single person goes out if their way to make you happy
My husband had a severe headache one night and they only had a Tylenol for sale. The night clerk went and got us Advil! I can’t drink my coffee without flavored creamer so they gave some of the employee creamer
The housekeepers, Maintanence men and the desk clerks are just the best people we have ever met
We travel a lot and honestly, this group needs to teach every new employee for Hampton how to treat customers

Has a Peloton Bike! First hotel in my many many travels to have the bike. Rooms clean, front desk staff outstanding. Room service excellent. It’s quiet for the most part. Comfortable and if I ever have to work at Conemaugh again I’ll be staying here

Great Hotel, very nice inside and out. Beds are of medium quality, pillows.well.they just plain suck. Nice very clean and modern. Only other complaint is one lamp didn't work for more than 15min at a time, and the room was dimly lit.

This hotel has got to be a setup for a dope dealer because there is no way that this a real hotel that doesn't have a no pool to use (because it's only outside- weather it's closed right now), no laundry room, one workout machine in the fitness room, serve the same breakfast everyday.i didn't even bother to ask about the business center at this point bc I probably would have been more disappointed. This is something you may want to know if you are staying for several days. The only thing that saves this hotel, from me thinking its some kinda setup is the staff is super nice. That's it. I believe if I saw a piece of sausage another day, I was going to scream and toss every tray they had to the nearest dumpster
The laundry, I had, (I travel for work), I had to haul all of it to a nearby laundry which spoiled my lazy Sunday relaxation intensions. I'd say if you are staying a day, you're fine but any longer stays, you will wanna move. I preferred the room I had Holiday Inn, downtown. They had a restaurant, walking. Distance and all kinds of extra amenities. I would preferred the company I work for, got at least half their money back because for almost $1100 for the days I stayed, this was the cheapest, shabbiest, and "lack there of' style hotel. The rooms are pretty clean or decent, the heat doesn't go above 76, it was cold in my room the first night. It's close to shopping centers, and town. Pretty decent location. Otherwise, you may like it. I didn't personally, it was too off brand for me for my tastes. I'd prefer a refund honestly

As usual, an excellent stay.
5 nights here whilst trainspotting around the horseshoe curve. You know exactly what you're going you get, you know what the breakfast is going to be (basic, but fine) and the place is spotless as always.
There may be more charming places to stay, but probably nothing as consistently good

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED our stay.
The group of family and friends we were traveling with for the week-end were great, but our stay at this hotel made our trip that much better!
The staff was AWESOME-so friendly, obliging and accommodating and the accommodations were really nice!
If you want a great place to eat, go to Asagio's-uggghhh! The view is breath-taking and the food's great!

Great stay! Super super clean! And I own a cleaning company so I don’t say that often about places! But it was super clean and the breakfast was awesome in the morning they have everything! Everything was clean and organized! Great stay great people 10 stars

Nice room.good view.wife had to ask for our diamond status waters.no thanks for being diamond at all.there were no spots to park, it was a total cluster. I doubt diamond parking was full of diamond guests but u never know.

Great stay. Staff was hospitable, hotel was clean. Inside the Hotel was recently renovated, outside is currently being renovated.

This was a great hotel stay! The staff is incredibly helpful and the place is clean and quiet. Even though it was going through current updating, I was never bothered by excess noise or issues.

This Hampton has just had it's interior totally remodeled. It is like a new hotel. The rooms are very clean and cozy. Beds are comfortable and towels are very soft. The breakfast was very very good with lots of options of things to eat. Included cheese omelets, diced potatoes with peppers and onions, and maple eckrich type sausage. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I stay at hotels alot and at different chains. This is at the top of the list for best hotel and breakfast. Best Hampton I have been in. You won't be dissappointed.

I stayed here for another personal trip. It's the BEST place in the Johnstown area to stay. Friendly, helpful staff - CLEAN- updated rooms. GREAT breakfast and amenities!

The staff was excellent. The room was nice, but the without curtains or carpet, it was actually kind of loud. Also the hallway/lobby was very loud late at night. Thursday night was ok, but Friday and Saturday nights there were large groups in the dining area and kids running down the halls, both making a lot of noise until 11: 30 or 12: 00 at night. Between that and the renovation work starting at 8: 00 am during the week, it made it hard to get any rest.

Ok hotel for what it’s meant for. Clean and good staff. Only complaint was the construction that started at 8 AM that was so loud you couldn’t even talk to each other. Should really block the rooms that they are doing construction tight outside.

Very nice clean accommodations. They get that when a place says a breakfast is included.they do a nice job. Very helpful staff. Loved the shower.
