Hampton Inn Matamoras/Milford

Friendly, clean, easy on and off highway. Breakfast was pretty good for a buffet complimentary breakfast. Real fruit, real potatoes and sausage, eggs were hot and coffee was good.

I booked a king room as I was avoiding the snow storm and needed to be close to work. I was given a double, no biggie they moved me. Then the TV did not work after waiting 2 hours for assistance they sent a laundry attendant to “fix” the issue, he could not. They gave me another room… I walk in and it’s absolutely freezing! I finally speak to the manager, we go back to the other room she fixes the television and gives me extra pillows and snacks. (Nice lady very nice). But after a long day and next to 3 hours in the hotel without being able to just get comfortable and relax I am definitely not going to be staying again! I should’ve been comped. I will not recommend.

We enjoyed the breakfast and the breakfast staff was exceptional. When we requested new sheets the night desk person brought them immediately. Our only issue was that the sheets on our bed had not been changed - evident by a wadded up tissue in the bed. We were told that the manager would speak to us about the issue but no one ever did.

The beds are dirty the sheets looks like they have not been washed, I have called down to the desk no answer stood down there for 20 mins finally gave up, they also short you on change when you ask for change for the laundry so make sure you court you money. Make sure you check you beds.dirty beds leads to dorty bugssss.will be addressing this to management in the morning while we are enjoying sleeping on the floor with the blanks as a bed me my wife and 2 children we came out here from Williamsport area to look at a truck in the morning an this is what we're treated to. Quick stop off two weeks ago due to the sudden blizzard, roads were getting treacherous and I had been up since 0530 and it was 2100, I was exhausted, luckily they had a room. I was up on the 3rd floor, but it was warm, dry, and clean.

Now as for the "3-star" for the room, the hotel is quite old. I think the first time I stayed there was in 07 or 08, the rooms looked similar. Only thing that I had noticed the changed was the door locks. I've seen many of the Hilton Chain hotels upgraded over the past couple years, and unfortunately this one has yet to get the treatment.

We really like this place and have stayed there several times while traveling through the area. The rooms are clean and the breakfasts are great as are the rates. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because although most of the staff were amazing, two of the front desk staff working together were not very nice. Upon check in the woman at the desk was great though as was the man who was decorating the entry. The ladies running the breakfast were awesome as well.

Were able to get us rooms at last minute in emergency and heloed us find a car repair close by to get us fixed same day. Decor could use a refresh which is comkng, but rooms were clean and service exceptional.

Excellent experience. Clean, super organized and amazing breakfast! Super nice staff and great location. A lot of things to do around, great hikes at High Point park and a lot of cool restaurants around. Highly recommend.

Clean room, good front desk service, delicious breakfast. We were in town for the weekend for a wedding and were a pretty low-maintenance couple with no crazy requests. We showed up late Friday night at 11: 30 and the front desk lady was attentive and got us into our room quickly. No complaints here, an excellent stay.

Excellent location for electric vehicle owners traveling between the Northeast and Midwest. Four EV chargers (2 x Tesla connector, 2 x J1772 plug) to use overnight + start next day of travel fully charged. Clean facilities and helpful amenities right off I-84.

Stayed there last week on the way to Florida for the holidays and was extremely impressed. Hilton needs to send all their franchise owners to this location to see how a Hampton Inn should be operated. I stay in hotels all over the country every month and this was one of my favorite stays in a long while. Room was excellent, check in was excellent, breakfast was excellent. The owner should be very proud of his hotel.

Room was OK, but be aware if you have a pet or were expecting the room you reserved. We booked for two queens in a pet friendly room. We were given two doubles plus charged a $75.00 pet fee. I don't consider $75.00 as being very friendly. I think this is called "bait and switch"

Front door key card doesn't work requiring you to wait for the front desk to let you in. While waiting for the front desk person (no one at reception but it's 12AM no big deal) the white car in front of the hotel front door I thought was just unloading started slightly bouncing, catching my attention. After staring for about a minute the driver looks at me and points and the girl in the passenger seat looks up from a position where she's clearly giving the driver a special surprise. Quickly preparing herself she jumps out of the car and it turns out to be the front desk girl. She comes in, pulls the door open and rudely says "you know the side doors work fine with the key card"

However while she quickly fixed her hair she failed to clean up her face. So.yeah. I didn't need to know what you were doing. Or your attitude because he was shocked into an unprepared ending.

Very impressive. Good to know that the Hampton inn is a place where at night I can "head" to for a "happy ending" from a long trip.

Seriously though. Fix your front door sensor.

I put my name.on this reservation with someone who did t have a credit card. I did t stay here and it al.ost ruined my marriage. My wife called here and they told my wife that I had checked into this room with another woman. Very unprofessional.

Perfect experience for stopping while on the road. REALLY clean and the hot bath was the perfect way to spend the night. Front desk got us checked in faster that ever before. THANKS

The hotel was clean and the staff were polite and professional.

Stayed on the 4th floor, (only ice machine working). The room was modern and had a microwave and a mini fridge. Big clean bathroom.

WIFI was terrible, slow and limited.
Staff knew about it, but we're unable to do anything about it

They did have local cable and decent TV, with HDMI ports.

Nice food store within walking distance.

No bar no restaurant staff is friendly rooms are adequate. This place is fine for a quick overnight and breakfast jn the morning stay.
