Hampton Inn Philadelphia/King Of Prussia (Valley Forge) reviews
19Fine for the price, nothing great but nothing terrible either. Employees we saw were friendly and polite. I will say this is close to several heavy traffic roads and you can hear the traffic in the room. Also the road to turn into the parking lot is odd. You can't turn left into the hotel, you need to drive past it and u-turn or something
All was good,
EXCEPT. If privacy in the bathroom matters to you, it's not a place for you.
Might look "cute", but the sliding door with NO lock is retarded.
Also, carpet needs to be vacuumed under the beds. Beds need to be moved.
Stayed at the hotel for four nights. Checking in, the room smells like smoke. Decided to live with it, but on the last night we watched a mouse run around our third floor room like he paid for the stay (he’s currently running back and forth between the two beds). If it wasn’t so late, we’d have left. All of our stuff is on top of the second bed so we don’t take Stuart Little home with us and we’re playing “The Floor is Lava” when we go to the bathroom. It’s clear the staff cares about the hotel, but if you’re expecting a level of quality that Hilton otherwise guarantees, this won’t be the right place. I’m a Hilton diamond member (staying at least 60 nights a year) and I’ve never thought about checking the reviews when staying in one of their hotels but I see that other guests have pointed these problems out, so I may now.
Nice place to stay at, it was close to mall, restaurants, Walmart only thing I wish hotel had was a pool but other than that everyone was nice n break fast was delicious n I like how they change like one day is bacon n the next day is sausage
We're pretty happy about the stay, the staff were very good and courteous. Pete from front desk was great, fast check-in with him. David was also good, he came by to ask if we need anything when we're eating breakfast, and we saw him refill the coffee and cups regularly. The breakfast staff was great too, she was constantly refilling the food, drinks, waffle batter, wiping the tables, not a free moment and she did it quickly with great attitude.
We were a bit nervous reading some negative reviews that were left a month ago, but when we arrived the rooms were clean and updated, staffs were wonderful, we had a great stay, A+!
The staff was top-notch, and the coffee always fresh; however, the hotel is old and a bit grimy. It had a musty smell the the carpets were very worn. All the ice machines worked, and breakfast was good.
Great location to the mall. The rooms were very clean. The front desk staff was amazing. And we can't forget the housekeeping staff thanks for keeping The hotel clean. The Hampton Inn made me and my family feel very safe they cleaned every morning and every evening thanks again
Terrible poor management. Stay at a motel 6 if you want a better place! Stay away cause management won't return your calls!
Sorry to say but the hotel was dirty and smelly. At first I tried to ignore the smell and didn’t want to be too picky but in the middle of the night, there was a mouse in my room! I was so shocked and couldn’t wait to check out 1st thing in the morning!
My fiancé and I always feel welcome and rooms are super clean front desk and housekeepers are super friendly
The hotel smelled musty. There was water on the first floor carpet and my 2nd floor room had a strong musty smell. Nice people, but I won’t be going back.
Front desk personnel were good (especially Brook? , who went above and beyond to reconcile some issues we had).
But.our room had an ant infestation, house keeping only serviced our room after several requests (2 people in our group requested housekeeping services for 4 days and never received it)
Breakfast was disgusting and inedible (bacon especially was a joke)
Dryer in guest laundry broken (only 1-washer & 1-dryer)
Room was fine (except for the ants and lack of housekeeping)
The breakfast bacon was disgusting. Breakfast sausage cold. Breakfast potatoes unseasoned. Beds are hard as rocks. Tv selection is bare minimum. And to top it all off my 2nd day they have another man keys to my room! No apologies or anything.
This was the most disgusting hotel I’ve ever seen, we didn’t even end up staying the night because of the condition of the room. We asked for a refund and they completely scammed us out of our money. I attached pictures to show how bad it was. I was supposed to use the pullout bed but it was an actual heap of junk that couldn’t even be touched without it breaking. There were BED BUGS or SOME TYPE OF FOOD left over in the bed. NO towels and the bathroom did not have a working toilet.
Total rip-offs do not stay here. Management and front desk people need to lose their jobs. Nicole, I’m talking about you. Hoping to get into contact with people higher up to make sure this place gets checked out, Gross.
Worst hotel ever. First of all I booked the hotel for king size bed and they give me double Bed after making me wait 20 minute even though I had reservation.
This past weekend, I arrived at the hotel at 10pm with my tired family expecting to be sleeping soundly in my room in no time and was told that no rooms were available for us. The reason was not unexpected.they didn't have enough staff to clean all of the rooms. My low rating is because we received no warning that we would be refused a room. No email, no phone call or text. We are long time Hilton Honors members and could have been easily reached. Instead, my family (and many others) arrived and was turned away. And the poor desk clerk was there by himself. The manager had gone home and left the young man to get yelled at over and over. It was the worst example of how a company could handle a bad situation. Be very wary of this hotel and that your reservation will be honored.
Nice hotel, free breakfast included and pet friendly. Affordable with no bells and whistles. Parking is free but there is a small fee during checkout for parking reclaim (like $3).
Very close to King of Prussia Mall, the highways, and Villanova University.
Wait time for anyone to answer the phone at the front desk is ridiculous. Been waiting for 26 mins and no one has still answered. Very unprofessional
Great hotel. The parking lot seems to be well lighted. The room was clean and comfortable!
