Hampton Inn Selinsgrove/Shamokin Dam

Very nice place to stay! VERY clean! Extremely friendly, knowledgeable staff. Breakfast was delish, especially the bacon, eggs and waffles. Coffee excellent. When we checked out they gave us a bag of free snacks for the road.

Really nice room and our stay was peaceful. Breakfast was ok. Next time we stay here we're going to use the pool and spa

Lower end of Hampton Inns as far as maintenance and care of rooms. They are still appointed well. Fair price. Breakfast was average for Hampton Inns.

I’m there almost every week, They are very nice l feel like home. Thanks all employees and staff.

Paid $220 a night for dirty and foul smelling rooms. I had two rooms and each smelled really bad of body odor, probably a mix of mold and cigarettes. Carpets felt dirty when walking bare feet. Felt like I would have had the same experience in a motel down the road for a third of the price. The only positive part was that the breakfast was pretty good.

You can tell this is an older hotel, but they've done a good job with renovations. Our stay was great. The only things I'll "complain" about are the TV and the AC. The TV didn't work and the AC was set to 60 for our arrival! Felt like polar bears! Lol.

Other than that, it's a great hotel.

Elevator buttons were taped over and missing (so if you had a room on the 2nd floor, you couldn't come down on the elevator, you had to use the stairs), room smelled stale and gross, pool and hot tub were not available to use, and they charged $270 per night - such an outrage. I won't let myself be fooled again.

Had a great stay before going to AOAA. The gentleman behind the counter was very nice and helpful (despite me checking in around 11pm). Room was clean and the air conditioner actually got cold. My only gripe was the noise. I heard all the noise from the hallway, rooms next to me and most annoyingly the sound of someone showering as the noise came from the bathroom drain. I might have just had a weird room and frankly it wasn't enough to ruin the stay. Breakfast wasn't anything to write home about but still nice. When I checked out the person behind the desk made sure I had a good stay and then the hotel followed up a few days later. Overall a great stay and I plan on coming back on my next trip to AOAA.

Was in a room on first floor across the main entrance down a short hallway. There was noise ALL NIGHT LONG. Doors slamming, could hear people talking.

Decent room for the price. I was expecting a little more for paying 187$ for a night.there are much better option for that price. I chose Hampton because I had a pleasant experience on the past.but not with this one. Room is too small. TV is not working, and when I asked to change the room. The receptionist states that they are fully booked and have no room. So I ended up with No TV for the kids on the room.

Staff was friendly, but the hotel was dirty! Our room had mold all around the bathroom, the carpet was dirty if you walked around with out shoes your feet would be brown from the dirt, there was trash all over the grounds and the hand sanitizer out side the one door the staff is using as a ash tray for their cigarettes.

Very clean and very nice staff! Crystal Snyder checked us in and was so kind! Chris the manager was easy to work with and aj the housekeeper went above and beyond. All need recognized. Will be staying here everytime we come to Pennsylvania, no doubt!

The hotel could use some updating, but it was clean, the service was good and the complimentary breakfast was pretty good, too. Kinda hard to get to.

Very clean, sanitary hotel! The service was outstanding and the breakfast! Room was very clean and felt really comfortable! Never got to go to the pool or anything but it looked very nice!

Very outdated.water stains on walls has a smell pool area is yucky.front desk is VERY nice
