Hampton Inn & Suites Erie/Bayfront reviews
15 My family stayed at this location this past weekend and the service was fantastic.
We had booked a room at the Cobblestone Hotel & Suites down the street and we were forced to leave due to the unacceptable condition of the room. So at 10pm in freezing temps with 3 kids we searched for another hotel and found the Hampton, I booked through a 3rd party site and the reservation didn't make it over.
After 45 min fighting with the site I canceled that reservation and booked right through the front desk.
Malik, who was working the front desk was amazing, he did more for us than the management at the other hotel, and our situation was not his fault at all.he price matched the 3rd party site and gave us a free upgrade. After such a stressful day it was really nice feel like someone cared about our predicament.
The room was very big, clean, and well maintained, it had a nice view of the harbor.we were in and out quick so we didn't get to use all the amenities, but what we saw looked great.the location was fantastic, we had an event at the convention center and it was a 30 second drive or a 10 min walk away.
I would definitely recommend.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. I followed their recommendations for dinner, and was not disappointed. They also suggested I try Oliver's on the top floor, and it was great.
This is a hotel you can stay in. In the summer the hotel has a restaurant called Oliver's and they have a beer garden and the restaurant is on the top floor over looking the lake. Also there is a museum next door
Came back to my room after working all day, to be greeted by a neighbor with a dog barking incessantly. Hotel staff told me to call Hilton, with a fake number. Found the real Hilton number, and told them what happened. They recommended speaking to the general manager and changing rooms. The front desk STILL refused to follow Hiltons direction. After arguing and finally speaking to the general manager, a room change was processed. I was escorted to my old room to pack, and you’ll never believe it…. THE NEIGHBOR CAME OUT WITH THE DOG AND IT RAN INTO MY ROOM! Moral of the story: stay anywhere else. Money wasted! Do not stay with Hilton!
I recently stayed at this location two nights ago, and following my experience last night, I find myself wishing I could have extended my stay. I was truly impressed with every aspect of this Hampton Inn, from the impeccable rooftop restaurant and bar to the overall cleanliness of the establishment. The staff exhibited a commendable level of professionalism and service. I anticipate with eagerness the opportunity to return in the future, should my business endeavors lead me back this way.
This was the best stay. They have a beautiful place on the water. The restraunt was amazing and the mini-golf outback was a great surprise. We will go back.
The hotel is in a great location on Lake Erie. The Beer Garden and rooftop bar are very nice. The rooms are clean and spacious.
The only complaint I have is that their breakfast on a Sunday morning ended at 10am which is a little early. At exactly 10am a group of employees came in very military like and shut down. There were several people still eating and it would have been courteous to see if anyone wanted anything before they closed. At this time there wasn’t even coffee available which is usually available all day.
This is the best Hotel in Erie. Is new and well kept. Has a great roof top, and good price for value. If you are lucky, you can get a room with great view to the bay
Definitely stay here when in area. Can't say enough about how nice it was here. Clean rooms and staff were friendly. Breakfast great. We didn't have any issues with Beer Garden noise.hotel was extremely quiet.
First time there. I would definitely go back. Nice area, but the Marriot has a much better view.
Nice in that there is a separate restaurant on top independent of the hotel. Allow for the 4 pm check in. Parking will cost you 10.00 plus tax. We have been there at least 4 times. Great views
Everything was great during my visit. Great service from the hotel staff. Clean room. (My only feedback, don't believe the hype about the restaurant. It was okay, but not amazing and the only place I didn't feel like I got great service)
I was extremely disappointed in this hotel. First off, the person checking us in was rude. Giving everyone the benefit of the doubt, I initially passed this off. However, upon going down to further inquire about the hotel, she was dismissive and again, just plain rude. The room's sinks did not drain For the price of this hotel per night, I would at least expect decent service and working room conditions. WiFi in the hotel is also hit or miss. I am a HH member so I have experience with different hotels.
Some of the room's views of the Bay are good. As stated in previous reviews, the bar next store had bands playing but I honestly didn't notice them that much.
I love that you’re very amazing location right on the water beer garden with food and drinks right outside nice pier that you can walk family vacation would definitely return and reasonable prices
SPIDERS! Stay away if your afraid of spiders! The spiders are on the outside of the window but they are big and the web covers the full windows! At night the spiders and web are much more noticeable. If you are afraid of spiders you WILL be traumatized!
