Hampton Inn & Suites Philadelphia/Media

Fairly new hotel. Rooms were small and noisy, beds were old and squeaked. Maintenance issues, did not like this property.

Great place with comfortable beds and guilt rooms. They have a nice breakfast too and a super clean indoor pool.

We stood outside for more than 20 minutes waiting for someone to open the door for us, we ran the bell incessantly and tried calling the front desk but no one answered. Once the attendant finally opened the door for us, we barely got an apology. We were supposed to get a King Suite but we’re given a room with Double beds. We were too tired to complain about it, and the issues didn’t stop there. Both beds creaked an INSANE amount as soon as you touched them. Finally, I came back a couple of days later to grab the remaining guest bags but they informed me they didn’t have them. They didn’t even have the decency to put them aside for me for a couple of days. I will never recommend anyone staying in this hotel. I deserve my money back for such a horrific experience.

No nonsense place to stay when visiting the wonderful town of Media. Strange road intersection on one side of the site, be careful. Initially put us in a ground floor room facing parking lot — why, when there are better high floor rooms? Corrected it without fuss. Brought non feather pillows. No night lights for bathroom. Don’t expect great food for breakfast but it’s there if you need it. Much better to visit Bittersweet in town.

Nice hotel. The rooms have always been clean when I have used them. I have always felt safe and comfortable in the hotel

This place is a complete joke I will never spend my money here again, the wall had a crack in it, my hotel room wasn’t good.very rude staff the room smells horrible and marks on the carpets, my sheets had stains on them.workers are not presentable this hotel does not meet hilton standards i will never come back to this place and i will definitely not recommend to any of my Colleagues. If i could give this place 0 stars i would.

I was supposed to stay 9/13 the room had a really musky smell like mold, when I ran to open a window to get air; I had roaches running on the air conditioner. After that I did an inspection there were dead bed bugs on the mattress lining.

The front desk was nice and refunded me after two attempts to resolve the situation. Spending less than an hour in the room, I am still having issues breathing as it’s suspected I inhaled bug spray in the room. Headed to a doctor today.

I would highly discourage anyone with allergies from staying. The bugs were not acceptable.

I’ve stayed in many Hampton Inns but this stay was not enjoyable. The room was just blah, the breakfast was blah, and the whole stay was just ordinary.

The hotel was nice but had a moldy smell to it when you walked into the rooms and the actual building. The staff was helpful with me switching rooms and getting checked in however.the day of checkout someone called my room at 9am while we were still sleeping and then at 10am (still sleeping) housekeeping was beating down the door for no reason and then let herself in even after I said WHAT? ! I was a little aggrevated by this and the woman at the front desk sounded as if she could care less. I also was confused about checkout time because the back of the bedroom door says 12pm and guest services was saying 11am, and they didn't seem to sure about this. I just ask that your housekeepers don't start checking rooms until the actual check out time and that the employees actually know when the check out time is or fix the signs on the back of the door.

The hotel is about 20-25 minutes from Philadelphia. It’s in a great location with tons of restaurants and a shopping mall nearby. The rooms were nice, spacious and well maintained. Only issue is the AC, felt like it was on a timer and didn’t work properly. From the front desk personnel to the cleaning people the service was really great. Definitely worth stay!

I agree with a couple other posters. The customer service/hospitality is lacking but the overall hotel gets the job done. The rooms are fine and clean. The location was perfect for me. The hotel staff can be rude, cranky, and unaccommodating. I would return to this location if I needed to be in Media again. However, do not expect anything close to 5 star customer service.

If you want to experience a motel, this is the place for you. Hard beds, broken toilets, broken lights and paper thin walls which perpetuate the unrelenting and uninteresting sounds of amor. Go for it!

All as expected except TV didn't have any streaming options. Only cable TV channels. AC controls are a thermostat on the bedroom wall behind you when you walk in. It operates the unit under the window. The controls on that unit won't do anything, but it works great from the wall thermostat. Nice bathroom, plenty of towels and washcloths without making a special request. Breakfast waffles are cooked for you so order it before you get your coffee. They can only cook 2 at a time. Big pot of oatmeal is good, and 4 toppings are good. Coffee is ok, and happy to have the option of a flavoured creamer.

Some of the front desk staff is not professional at all. This hotel is very overpriced for what it offers. Whether it is points or actual money it's way to much.

Rooms are very large, low water pressure, hot coffee seemed to be unavailable/ always low.
