Hampton Inn & Suites Pittsburgh-Meadow Lands reviews
20Rooms was nice and clean bed rated a 5 out of ten! I was quite surprised for a Hampton Inn! Pillows too small for a King bed.need a King size pillow!
Staff was friendly, hotel was clean and the the bed was comfortable. We will definitely stay here again our next trip in the area.
Stayed at this hotel and left my glasses on the night stand. I called the next day and was told they needed to talk to head housekeeper. 6 days later still no call back. Then I call and they said nothing was found in the room. I know for a fact that they were left on the nightstand.
Great place to stay. Good value. Nice rooms and price is reasonable. We used to stay a Drury Inns, but find that they are getting too pricey and buffets are not enjoyable any more.
Heat issues Housekeepers banging on my door twice when I was napping They were looking for a cell
The staff gets 5 stars hands down - girls at the front desk were memorable for their level of professionalism and cordial / helpful approach. The room - 3.5 stars - nothing special - clean, functional - but the outlet was too close to the desk for a double plug I travel with, the TV was lacking (remote) and the fridge was temperamental. One note some may love - the room was at boiler stage upon checkin (really hot - turned the A/C on for 10 minutes in the middle of Jan. The elevator is painfully slow. In the end what brings it all down - the typical Hilton BS these days. The internet was pathetic - but if I'd like to pay - well I've done that before and its still well behind my hotspot or tethering to iPad or iPhone - so what's the use - it the cash grab by the brand - if you are going to hit me for "FAST" internet - it should be fast - and in three tries, its not even close. If internet doesn't matter to you - I highly recommend, but otherwise - almost every brand out there provides good internet (not throttled) for free.
All around good stay — the hotel is clean and the area is safe. Front desk staff was friendly and check in was a breeze. Breakfast was decent, all of the typical staples (oatmeal, waffles, bagels, fruit, coffee). Only reason for deducting one star is because the heating system in our room didn’t seem to work. The systems are motion activated but even after moving around, ours never activated. Other hotels we stayed at with the same systems (Verdant) didn’t have this issue, so it must have been our room. The front desk did offer us a different room, so there was that.
Car broke down the day before. So I was not able to arrive until noon the following afternoon. Paid for two nights, only stayed one. Everytioyou moved an inch in the bed, it squeaked/made crunching noise. Pillows were so old.
Wasn't offered any type of credit, upgrade of room, or any amenities. Just, "sorry you were delayed. Have a good night. " That's one way to treat a diamond member.
Very nice hotel, spoiled me for the rest of our trip.
Comfy beds
Beautifully appointed bathroom with huge walk in shower.
Mini fridge in the room.
Elevator
Clean rooms, hallways, breakfast area.
Complementary Breakfast hours 6 am to 10 am
Full hot breakfast, buffet style but with lots of choices.
Continuous coffee, decaf, hot water for tea or hotel chocolate.
No complaints.
The bedroom was comfortable. Mattress/pillows/AC were great. Bathroom needed updated. Low shower pressure. Hot tub was great. Pool was okay.
Breakfast was atrocious. We didn't even get it the second day. Soggy wet eggs. Ugh. Disgusting. We went out and got breakfast. Should've sent them a bill.
Friendly staff.
Several key items were missing from you typical Hampton breakfast, fruits, whip cream for waffles, spoons, perhaps related to supply chain issues.
Wifi in my room had very poor and spotty reception.
The room was clean and modern. The service was excellent. The hot breakfast was nice. The mattress was very comfortable. I actually slept both nights I was there. I gave 4 stars because I booked through a third party so I will not get Hilton points. I booked through my employer's website. I didn't realize I would not be get points. Now I know. It is a nice hotel to stay in.
Hotel was clean. Housekeeping was friendly. Lost a star because the front desk clerk at check in was too busy smoking outside rather than waiting on the line of customers lined up inside.
The hotel is well maintained and clean. Room was quiet from hall way noise. Good layout. Room on entry side (i.e. Even numbered rooms) may avoid any road noise.
Breakfast was well stocked and serviced by attendant.
Not impressed… actually disappointed. Rooms were small and outdated. The bathroom was barely functional and the elevators were extremely slow for only being a 5 floor hotel. The breakfast was poor as it was very basic. Would not stay there again.
Really loud due to casino drinking on weekends but other then that it's not to to bad but just need better housekeeping to not throw away people items and clean rooms better
Apparently they don't care about customers complaints, I paid more than $300 for my Easter vacation and didn't get the service that I expected and I filed a complaint online and no one cared to get back to me.
I was not treated equally. I was charged $154.00 per night as a Hilton honors member and over heard someone who didn't have a reservation charged $129.00 per night as a walk in. Even after I over heard the conversation and ask the front desk clerk about it she still didn't change the price. I will never stay here again.
I left a review via email but I know it doesn't post to Google where most people check. Seriously this was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at, specifically due to the staff. We arrived late after a long trip and the front desk lady was so kind and helpful. The hotel was clean and well prepared for guests. I'd def stay again and recommend to anyone.
Room was clean but public areas were a little dirty. Definitely enjoyed ourselves. We made good use of the whirlpool. Very quiet and relaxing getaway. Staff were all very friendly and attentive to all of our needs. Would definitely stay here again.
