19 DO NOT COME here! They have RATS running around in the restaurant.
I came here to Jan 10th 2022 at 7pm. It was shocking to see the rat just running in the seating area. I run without looking back.
Some customers sitting there said they saw it for 20 minutes and the manager just let it happen. When I left, the manager (blond hair lady) even tried to explain that the rat was from outside running into their restaurant.
I am seriously concerned about the health and safety of this place. It is a high end restaurant with high cost Food, not the cornerstone so this is unacceptable!
Terrible experience on the evening of the 25th (Christmas day). My partner got a table for two, i arrived about 5 mins after them. We Waited at the table for about 10 more mins without a server greeting us. One server stood next to us for about five mins having a convo with another guest while the other server completely ignored us until we put our coats on and headed towards the exit. His exact words as he stopped us were “oh were you guys ready to order? I assumed you needed more time”…. How could you make that assumption without even welcoming us and seeing if we had any questions OR asking us if we did in fact need more time?
I understand that restaurants are understaffed right now, but a simple “hello, I’ll be right with you” would have sufficed.
So we decided to sit at the bar which wasn’t a better experience. The bartender working also didn’t greet us or make ANY eye contact. She just simply handed us the QR code and turned around. And asked someone else to take our order. At that moment, we decided to just order take out food and take it home. This was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had.
Dan Dan Noodles, Chinese Lagers, and Anthony Bourdain approved? What’s more to say? This place is reliably delicious and the service is always on point. A place I bring out of towners visiting, much to their delight.
Probably my favorite location of theirs. Came for dinner with friends and split some dan dan, dry hot chicken, and some dumplings. All of it came out quickly and had the always delicious flavors of Han dynasty. I liked this location more for the dining room. Had a cleaner feel (not that other locations were a dirty environment though).
Food is fine, no lunch menu, tables are a close to each other as before pandemics. Sitting two feet away from a large party was very uncomfortable.
Come here a fair amount and am usually somewhat satisfied. This time I didn’t care for an entree (swimming in oil) and ate maybe 3 bites. I stated to the server I didn’t care for it and would not eat it and didn’t want to take it home. I was still charged full price. Why?
First time at the university city location for the Wu Tang dinner and it was on point. Service was impeccable, food was tasty and I was glad I went.
I'd like to give them 5 stars for a good change that they've made recently.
Long story sort, one thing I hate from the restaurant is the low quality and inconsistency of white rice. It's often not welly cooked.
But today I found that they've changed the type of rice and it's very good.
Did not listen to the spice level we asked for. This has happened three times now. We asked for mild food and got fried rice full of red chili flakes.
I order something different as much as I can and have never been disappointed with the food or service. The dan dan noodles are a must. Great to go family style with large groups and I look forward to dine-in being open for lunch during the week again
I ordered Uber eats and after they gave my order to someone else, they refused to refund me. They told me I had to contact Uber if I wanted my money back. The man on the phone stated “that he was trying to be professional” but also refused to let me talk to a manager. I was recommended this restaurant and could not be more disappointed in their lack of service. They messed up and took zero responsibility for their actions. HUGE disappointment, won’t be going back! I’d like to add a photo, but again, the restaurant gave my food away, so I guess that’s not an option!
Tasty. Reasonably authentically seasoned. Very fast. I had Pickled Chili Shrimp and Eggplant with Garlic Sauce. The only negative thing I can say is that the sauce bases of the two dishes were rather similar. If I had known that I would have ordered a different vegetable dish.
Hell no! The worst dining in experience I have ever had in Philadelphia. Their waitresses express their strong discrimination to Asian customers with Many impatient, disrespectful attitudes and didn’t even take our orders!
Guys, respect yourself and dont go to this restaurant!
Have you ever seen a waitress rowed their freaking eye bowl up? Have you experienced a waitress trying to copy your credit card that would potentially do fraud bank transfer for their own benefit? If you come here, these horrible thing would come true. If you don’t Wanna lost your money and being despited, do not come here!
Regularly, you won’t give a chance to a restaurant again if a waitress rolled her eyes at you when you tried to order asking for a menu one week ago.
It was my fault decided to eat here again today. Two of the blonde waitresses were impatient and unprofessional, ignoring you most of the time except the time you wanted to check and tip. By the way, the orders were wrong twice.
Overall great food. Some dishes are very authentic and some others are questionable (celery in Kung Pao Chicken?). But they overall taste good.
Awesome Service! The Food was Frickin Stellar, Ample Portions, and an All Around Wonderful Experience! Do Yourself a Favor and Check it Out!
The food was (DELICIOUS) and service (EXCELLENT) Xing took very good care of us. Introduce us to a nice Beer Purple Haze with a hint of Raspberry in it.
Been here 3 times. Food was good.
The only thing I didn’t like was they said it was lamb in black bean sauce, when obviously it was beef. Tasted a lot like pepper steak.
I don’t like being fooled. If I pay for lamb, I want lamb.
The server was pleasant and polite. He told me what I wanted on the menu because I didn't know what was vegetables was included in the meal.
