Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa reviews
15On September 17th approximately 3: 45pm, i entered the salon for my service. While waiting for our services, the two young ladies could be heard discussing social outings along with using profanity. This is my first visit to this salon. My services primarily occur in Flourtown. My service was booked by my friend as "Friends Hangout with Dinner".
I truly enjoyed my experience at Hand and Stone. It was an unexpected visit giving to me by a friend, but a wonderful visit that truly allowed me to relax and relieve the tension that I had.
I have been going to Hand& Stone every month for about 7 years and love the massage Tiffany was giving me. Since she left I now have Jey who is a new massage therapist at this location. Jey is very thoughtful to my needs. She had my sheets warmed up and towel ready. She ask if she applied the right pressure and worked more on my shoulders when I ask her. She also is very knowledgeable in herbal remedies. I made another appointment with her and looking forward to my next massage. Good luck Jey
I want.to live.here. LOL. This is the third location I've tried and it was supreme. Receptionists were lovely and the massage was divine. (Fingers crossed it stays that way.)
Trina is the absolute best, She knows what she is doing besides being extremely professional. She explains the process step by step and allows time for questions you while working.
The new manager Donna a made a world of difference down to the warm fuzzy atmosphere when you walk in. I have been a member for some time and decided to cancel my membership. If the two of them stay with this location, I will probably rejoin.
There is no where better than this place! The atmosphere is amazing, the employees are incredibly sweet and happy every time I’ve been there or called there. They are always happy to help with anything. I’ve only gotten facials there so far, and it’s such a relaxing experience. My face is so so soft and glowing for weeks after I go! Highly recommend
The receptionist was pleasant and patient. There was alittle mix up on her behalf however she made amends.
The masseuse and facial were professional. The rooms where they give you to massage or clean and serene. Free parking.
The setting is small and efficient. The massages are good and foot reflexology is ok. They offer other services that goes through the insurance but I only wanted a massage.
OUTSTANDING massage therapists. VERY knowledgable therapists! I'm a member and get discounted rates and go 2x per month now.
Tori did an excellent facial today. I scheduled another in a few weeks. I am hoping to take her tips home and within a few months my skin will be clear again! Today my skin is looking very clean and shiny! Felt very relaxed. Thank you!
Danielle is seriously the best at facials! She is SO sweet and is always asking about your concerns/needs. My skin has improved dramatically since seeing her. I would highly recommend Danielle!
Had facials with Tori and Greta, here in Broomall. They are both wonderful. At the end your skin is glowing, particularly if you take one of the upgrades. Don't even go near the Glen Mills office where the facials are absolutely lousy.
I’ve had Nas the last two massages. He is wonderful, mixing eastern and western massage. I fell asleep both times and was so rested.
I got an introductory massage at this place because my regular spa didn't have availability. I really needed a good massage to relax due to chronic headache and lower back pain. It was the WORST experience ever! I lay down on the bed and waited for her for a while. The therapist got in there and uncovered the blanket and then told me she forgot the oil. She left me uncovered and opened the door to get the oil. Till then, I already had a feeling that it might not be good. It was when she gave me scalp massage, which is an add-on, that I knew it was the WORST massage I could ever get. She was basically rubbing my hair which caused to much friction and I felt very uncomfortable. The movement of her hands were really FAST and I couldn't relax at all. Any area that she massaged, she left that uncovered. So I also felt very cold, not even mention too much mint oil on my head (which made me even cooler)! When she put the hot towels on my back and went to massage my legs, I started to feel a little bit warmer. But she left the towel to cool down and just left them on my back for TOO long and it was freezing! I told her that the towels got cold and she just laughed and then removed them. The rest of the massage was just very quick wrapping up with me feeling soo COLD! I gave her a bit tip just because of my politeness. But I don't want to give a dime to this WORST service!
