Maintenance uses their key to get into your apartment when you are not home, no matter the maintenance issue. Mice and bugs in the apartment frequently, management lies to cover maintenance terrible behavior. Lead paint that cracks and chips, as well as mold in units. 20+ year old air conditioning systems that are controlled by management. Walls are super thin, you can hear anything at normal conversation volume and floors creak super loud. My fiancé and I were actually called by management to “not have foot traffic past 9-10pm” because the people below us were irritated. Ridiculous! Property manager Annabelle Davis seemed very nice at first, but then started becoming unprofessional, very rude, harasses you with phone calls, and seemingly no privacy from maintenance or management. Annabelle specifically lies to try and cover for the wrongdoings of herself and the Altman company, she’s the one who sends maintenance in to units with no one home, no phone call or notice. Made me very nervous living here. Never knew if a door was going to fall of its hinges, be met with bugs, or have someone let themselves in to your apartment on any given day of the week. Highly advise not putting up with these people, especially if there are women or kids in the picture.

Was told an apartment was $805 when I toured it in person on two separate occasions. When I got my approval letter it had $910 a month on it. I called to see if it was a mistake and the Manger was rude and basically called me a liar on the phone instead of owning up to a mistake on her part. They also kept the $100 deposit on the unit they made me place with the application.

I have NEVER dealt with crooks like the people with this company! After moving in, I constantly had problems with the dishwasher, the AC system, the plumbing, and BLACK MOLD. After coming back into the apartment after they “fixed” the black mold in both of my bedrooms, I had noticed that they “fixed” it by simply painting over it. Over the next couple months, I was constantly sick. I rearranged furniture in my rooms, only to find that the mold was back on the walls and in the carpet this time. I immediately gave them notice that I was moving out due to me being sick from their negligence. I paid that months rent in full and the $1862 early termination fee. Here I am a month later, receiving a letter stating that my security deposit won’t be returned, AND I owe $662 in fees. This is the most money hungry company and they do not care about their tenants safety. I would NEVER recommend Hanover Apartments to even my worst enemy.

My wife and I have lived here for nearly a year. We've been pleased with the response regarding maintenance requests, friendliness of the staff, and the accepting attitude towards my ESA. The price is a little high for our liking, however, we cannot complain about the quality of the apartment and service we get for the price.

This place allows pets which is fine if you have one. If you don't and prefer not to be subjected to other people's pets, this is not where you want to be. Other than that the places aren't too bad. Very tiny kitchens.

A little over priced but if you want to live close.to town this is the spot for you
