We had a great server but food was not what it used to be. Also, having gluten-free options or alternatives as well as vegan options would be a bonus. Beer and cocktails were tasty. Restaurant was clean.

Great food, great beer, and live entertainment was awesome. We eat here every time we make it to Penn State. May be coming more often if my kid wants to go here. Great way to end a successful college visit.

We stopped here for dinner while driving through State College. The food here was very good and so was the beer! My daughter has an egg allergy and they were cognizant of that and helped me find something on the menu that she could eat safely. We really enjoyed the short rib nachos as an appetizer and then I enjoyed my chicken nuggets and french fries for dinner. We enjoyed the beer so much, we took some cans home. If you are in the area, I would recommend stopping in. The staff was friendly and the vibe/ decor of the dining room was very neat.

Spend a lot of time with these folks, very talented staff and amazing food. One of the best places to catch local music too!

Happy Valley Brewing Company is a strong vibe! They live up who they are and embrace the country/music culture they’ve created! Sizeable portions, great live music, and fresh home-brewed beer. What else do you want?

I had a really good experience at HVBC. The service is really good and the bartenders were willing to allow us to try a variety of different beer before deciding on one, which is brewed in house. They also have a really good cocktail selection as well if you’re not into beer. The food was also outstanding. I got a salad and it was absolutely massive. From most people would be good for multiple meals and the salmon was cooked perfectly. Also I think it’s a must to get the fish and chips. Everyone knows the standard fish and chips is cod, but Happy Valley makes it with Barramundi and it’s absolutely incredible. Each piece is well worth the price and it’s fried to perfection.

I'm editting my review from 5 stars to 2. I do not like the new menu changes. They took away my favorite dish the eggplant rigatoni. Extremely disappointed in the new menu.

We always enjoy our time here, the beer is delicious the atmosphere is warm and inviting and the food is satisfying. I would invite you all to give it a try

Staff / server was awesome. Food was a bit overcooked but the beer was awesome. Request Celine as your server. She'll treat you well.

Of course, the IPAs were superb, but gotta thank the bartender for talking me out of ordering the soup with the nachos.despite my best efforts, had to walk away with a few still on the plate.

We had the short rib nachos as an appetizers and they were very yummy! I feel like it could’ve had more cheese on them, as the bottom nachos were dry. I had the short rib grilled cheese sandwich and that was The. Best.grilled cheese sandwich. The tomato jam was such a great compliment to the Gruyère cheese. I was very happy with my meal and our experience here.

What I really enjoy from this restaurant is their decorations. If you look up at the ceiling, there are lots of pictures and art works which are really special to me, leaving a very good impression. Besides, the service is very good as well. The only thing that I feel inadequate is that the light is a little bit bleak. The food there is good and the non alcohol drink only have Pepsi.

Had a good meal with good service. I had salmon salad. That was yummy. Someone else had short rib grilled cheese and sad it was fantastic. The fries are great and fresh. We'll be back.

We called to order takeout, was told they don't offer takeout due to their busy hours although if I went in to order, I could take it home. Kind of a double standard, last time we will order or go there for dinner. Sad.

Great food, great beer, great music! The sound is not overwhelming. Give it a try if you’re in the area.

Went to HVB with a party of around 20. Food and drinks were great and the service was excellent.
