Har Jehuda Cemetery reviews
7My family is here. What an absolute disgrace. Overgrown and 100% not taken care of except for the first 5 or so rows. Absolute nonsense and pathetic
I don't even have family here, just heartbreaking to see the conditions of this cemetery. So many headstones are fallen over, trees have grown up right on top of graves, grounds are nothing but unkempt. I've seen abandoned cemeteries in better condition than this. To whoever owns the property, you have a community willing to help. It's disgusting to ignore that and continue disrespecting the families of those whose loved ones lay here
Horrific conditions
We had to weed wack the area just to get to the graves. Spent 2 hrs cleaning up the area where family are buried just to show respect.
This will be grown over the next time we visit. Please Mr Moskowitz at least mow the property.
My sister Mindy died over 2 years ago and her Tombstone still hasn't been placed. Our family has 4 generations in this cemetery and I can't even get Larry to return my calls. Our family has paid already for the headstone. I'm devastated about this and don't know what to do?
If I could give this horrendous cemetery negative stars, I would. My mother paid for everything in advance. When she passed away 2/22/22 we were told the price of her headstone went up, so we gave him, Larry, another $1,000.13 months later-still no headstone. He claimed there’s a problem with granite. 5 other relatives have passed away in the last year and ALL have headstones. All are buried at different Jewish cemeteries. It’s also filthy.
I went to visit my Husband's grave, Seymour Graboyes. I wanted to visit many Family that are buried there.unfortunately I could not find most. The cemetery is a disgrace not only for Family members, but for the loved ones buried there. How dare they allow stones over, weeds above stones.
They must have rules as cemetery caretakes to get it cleaned up and now. I am going to report them to the state of Pennsylvania.maybe they will have their license taken away! I hope
My grandmother was buried here in 1967, my great aunt in 1985. I stopped at the office for the locations. The woman would not let me in the door. She was nasty. I could not find either memorial, buried in weeds and vines, an absolute disgrace. Both had perpetual care on the Graves. I would not put my dog in this place. I have been in deserted Jewish cemeteries eastern Europe that are better kept. Shame on them! My uncle (who died as a child in 1920) is buried in a now defunct Jewish cemetery in Philadelphia. So much better kept, care taker walked us out to his grave. Har Yehuda is still selling plots. A joke!
