Harbour House Crabs, Harrisburg PA

I got crabs last week and they were cold, I ordered again giving them a second chance to make them right, and I express to them I wanted crabs that weren’t cold this time, only to order a dozen of “JUMBO’S at $109.00 a dozen, only to get crabs where half of them weren’t “JUMBO’s, and reheats to boot! Never again, I was very disappointed and will spend my money elsewhere! One big ripoff!

Disappointing meal this time around. To be fair, previous orders were delicious. The shrimp was pulled cold, from the display case. Tough chewing. Not sure why they were not freshly steamed. And the crabs weren't even warm out of the bag. Perhaps a busy time of the day? Too many orders to process? For future reference, request freshly steamed shrimp for best quality. If the crab legs are pulled frozen and steamed at point of sale, then the same can be done with the shrimp. Cocktail sauce is excellent by the way.

We ordered a 1/2 bushel for a Father’s Day present. They were some of the fullest crabs we have ever had. We were nervous ordering online since we are in Buffalo, NY but they were fabulous! We will definitely order again!

We love ordering our Maryland Blue Crabs from here. My family is pretty particular about the seasoning and they are always willing to accommodate our requests by putting the seasoning on the side. We also prefer the female crabs over the male crabs and they always seem to have them! The service is always pleasant and quick. Highly recommend! I would also highly recommend putting your orders in advance for the busy holidays like Memorial Day and Fourth of July.

One of my favorite places to pick up steamed crab while visiting PA. We pick up around 5 dozen with a few pounds of shrimp to take back home and throw them out on tables with some beer. Always a great time and wonderful food!

Awesome freash crab. They serve freash and steamed both. Test is excellent. I will definitely go myself and recommend my friends to visit.

Staff is friendly, they also offer to steam snow crabs and blue crabs with traditional, medium and strong spices! Me and my hubby love it! They have fresh live blue crabs.

Last time the crabs were good. And the only time I want crabs on a very special day (my birthday) and checked online for their business hour. They closed @7pm on Mondays. Give them a call @6pm try to placing an order for pickup. But find out the store is closing in TEN minutes and unable to take the order.

I love Harbour House crabs! I grew up in MD and live in TN now so thought I was going to have to give up steamed crabs forever. The shipping cost for their crabs makes it reasonably affordable to have delicious crabs again. And they are delicious.

We have had the steamed crabs many times and often order the special that comes with crabs, crab cakes, shrimp and brownies. Always delicious and enough for two nights. I will be ordering from them for a long time!

I am very picky when it comes to crabs, and I was very impressed with Harbour House. The crabs were shipped in a cooler packed with ice packs, and I was given instructions on how to steam. They were fantastic, and a very good size. I was a bit worried about ordering crabs and having them delivered by FedEx or UPS, but overall, a great experience. In addition to the crabs, I also had the crab cakes and they were OUTSTANDING! Very little filler, just pure crab meat. Worth ordering every time!

They advertise being open at 11am. I waited outside until 11: 30 when one employee showed up only to stay in his car. When I asked about opening he said he has to wait to the manager who might arrive around 12 or 12: 30. If this is how they run their business then I really don't want to taste their food.

Ended up not ordering. Got a gift certificate for Christmas for $50 but did not order because the shipping and handling was going to cost more than $29 for standard shipping. I had a lot of trouble getting the redemption code to work form Groupon anyway. I told my daughter to request a refund from GroupOn.

Wonderful as always, I have made many purchases (steamed crabs, shrimp, soft crabs etc) through the years, and you never disappoint. My mom requested shrimp from Harbour house for her 85th birthday. She enjoyed them very much. Being from the east coast originally it's nice to be able to celebrate with a taste of home. Thanks Again!

This place has a lot of good reviews, so we tried it. The crabs were bad, light weight and very little meat. Opened some crabs to almost nothing so we called and they didn't want to do anything. I lived and hour from them and he said he couldn't do anything for me.
Wont be coming back here again.

Seasoned a bit too heavy, but still awesome. Crabs are so fresh soft moist and absolutely tasty!
