Harleysville Veterinary Hospital

My older pups have been patients at Harleysville Vet for years and we have always had positive well-visits. During the month of December, my dog developed an eye issue that progressively got worse, resulting in a pre-holiday emergency eye removal surgery and an extended holiday stay at the hospital while he recovered. The doctors, techs, assistants, and administrative staff went above and beyond during this experience. I was so impressed by the exceptional care given to my dog. Beyond that, the doctors and staff provided me with frequent updates, troubleshooted issues that arose, and were kind and compassionate in communicating with me. I am so grateful for their service and care.

I have had nothing but good experiences at Harleysville Vet! All the staff is friendly, they are consistently available for appointments and very reasonably priced. We like to see Dr. Bogle but I’ve heard great things about all of the doctors!

My family has been going there for years. All the Vets we have seen (between us we have had a several dogs) have been very caring and professional. Dr. Bogal is a rock star. He took care of a cyst our cur had on his face and when he was done, it looked like a plastic surgeon did it! We are always very happy and comforted knowing how much they care.

I can’t say enough positive things about Harleysville Vet, most notably Dr. Bogle. He treated my senior dog over the past 5 months for a myriad of old dog issues. His dynamic approach allowed her several more months of life with our family. When she passed, he called to check in and express condolences; so kind. I look forward to a long relationship with this hospital with my other pets. Thank you Harleysville Vet!

Dr. Bogle is an awesome vet! Very attentive, kind and caring. He has helped guide me over the years caring for my dogs who are like my children as each one developed health issues, always there for advice. The staff at Harleysville Vet are also the best!

I’ve been using Harleysville Vet for over 30 years. I’ve never felt the need to change. That in itself should say it all. They have guided me through all stages of our pets lives and will continue to as long as we are able to have pets.

We have been using Harleysville vet for 10+ years. We've used them for cats and dogs. Dr. Wagner is amazing and unless there is a medical emergency, we will only see him. However. If Dr. Wagner ever leaves or retires we won't go back. The non doctor staff likes to gossip in the hallways.

I have been with Harleysville vetveterinary hospital for 35+ years. I have always seen Dr Lukoff with all my pets. I highly recommend their office.

Had a very sick pet.earliest I could take my pet was either that night or next morning… I wasted valuable time due to a simple yet crucial detail, you had to have already been a patient at this vet. I was told to they had no available appointments but I could pay the ER fee and come first thing in the morning. Next morning I called I’m told that was a lie due to my dog being a new customer. 5 weeks out was there earliest appointment for new patients.a puppy would be much older by then and a sick dog.well… SOL.now that it’s the morning I’m not calling around in a panic to get her ASAP figuring due to this being the only time I have due to working weekends. I know it’s a simple mistake but that info was very important to know ahead of time. I don’t feel bad that they’re busy, that’s what they want. I’m sure they didn’t mean it but I wasn’t asked once if I had been there before.only? Thrown my way was “what’s the pets name”…. Thanks lady.

My dog experienced seizures and was treated at Harleysville Veterinary Hospital. He received excellent care from the vets and staff. They were caring, communicative and thorough. I highly recommend them.

We were customers here with our dog for 17 years & in the beginning they were great! Not any more-we we’re treated terribly even on wellness checks! They are disrespectful rude ignorant & uncaring especially too our fur baby who was dying too tell me too wait 2 weeks for an appointment & then too say well we have no appointments but you can come and wait in our parking lot with your dog for 2 hours BUT there are
No promises that you will be seen! REALLY with my dying fur baby? Well I will never recommend you too anyone ever! Worse Vet around!

Harleysville vet is a wonderful place! From the receptionist staff to assistants to Veterinarians! They are caring individuals thinking of both animals and parents!

I truly believe the entire practice puts the health & welfare of pets above all else. They are caring, professional, and accurate!

Amazing experience - we were in between moving back east from TX and closing on a new home in NJ and needed a quick visit for our 14 year old chocolate lab - Dr. Nixon was able to do a quick check and refill our much needed Rx for our pup's arthritis

We have been going to Harleysville vet since 1995 and have always been extremely happy with their care. This summer both of my labs needed emergency visits. I want to to express my sincere appreciation to Dr. Bogle who handled our Moose's illness with care and compassion, and Dr. Nixon who recently saw Mack in a last minute Friday night injury and was absolutely wonderful. Love these docs! Their front desk staff is awesome as well!
